    Can anyone put this controller through its paces when it comes to 2d games? I bought a Buffalo wired usb gamepad recently because I needed free shipping from Amazon, and I keep trying to tell myself that I don't need this because of it.

    I might end up caving, if it feels really good to play, though.

    I bought three of these last time they were this price, great for Mario Kart and arcade games that need a d-pad. Jury is still out on how good they are for Smash though.

    Tried to use this with Super Smash, I couldn't even move in game. Each directional button was just using taunt :/.

      Did you try remapping the controls?

      Edit: I assume that would allow it to work.
