Great product for everyday use! Normally $20ea, today for $0

Help the evironment and yourself!

Reusable

The Portable Anti-Bottles are completely BPA-free and are constructed of three layers of ultra-durable plastic. Every portable Anti-Bottle is designed to withstand everyday use and regular cleaning. The inner layer is odor, taste and stain resistant, so it can safely be reused again and again!

Foldable

The Anti-Bottle is designed to stand when full and can be rolled, folded or flattened when empty, making it easy to use and carry everywhere you go. Unlike rigid water bottles, that are bulky when empty, the Anti-Bottle can be easily tucked away, conveniently fitting into pockets, purses and packs. The Vapur Anti-Bottle is quite simply the most portable, reusable water bottle on the planet.

Washable

We often get asked, what is the best way to clean an Anti-Bottle? Well, good news! The Portable Anti-Bottle is dishwasher safe and cleans easily on the top rack of most dishwashers. First, remove the cap and carabiner, blow a little air into the bottle to inflate, then simply turn upside down and insert the spout over the prongs on the top rack of your dishwasher. It's that easy!

If you put any liquid other than water in your bottle, we recommend that you hand wash, using a few drops of dish soap and a bottle brush to completely remove any residue.
Freezable

You can freeze your portable Anti-Bottle for nice cold water or use it as an icepack! Fill your portable Anti-Bottle half-way, place it in the freezer overnight and then fill it the rest of the way with water in the morning. You'll have an icy-cold beverage for hours!
Attachable

It comes with a convenient carabiner, making it easy to clip to your purse, belt-loop or pack. Vapur Anti-Bottles also do not crack or dent, so there's not as much worry as with traditional rigid bottles. Just clip it and go.

    Cheaper than eBay..
I've seen a few people with these and they look OK.. Would be great for Music Festivals!

    • Agree with these being super handy at festivals. screw paying $10/L for water!

  • .

  • I'm undecided about getting this. It holds 16oz which is 473ml. It is really cheap though…

  • Nice:)

  • @rep/op : normally $20 +S&H not $15 :)

    Colour:Random Pick

No thanks… Don't want to end up with the Pink one…

    • yeah, the random colour pick is a bit annoying but I'm a girl so any colour would be fine though I'm prefering the green one.

    • +1

you can choose multip qty, as we will ensure you won't get same colour when buying multiples

      • +1

I bought 3 based on your comment as I don't want the black or pink. G_Man hope you keep your word.

    • +9

Real men dont give a damn if they get a pink one

      • -1

        r u implying jv is not….:p

  • I would buy it if I could specifically choose pink. Otherwise, no thanks.

    • Can I hold you to that? I just bought three ;)

      • +1

Hey, if you want to bring a pink one to melb, I'll gladly give ya $3 for it! :P

        • +4

I've just bought six, if I get more than one pink you can have one pickup Mt Waverley.

But you may have to fight the 3yo for it. I must warn you, she has a good kick on her, just ask her bro's.

        • Getting into a fight with a fiesty toddler? No thanks, been there done that!

  • OK I bought one. Hoping I get either green or blue.

  • Perfect for my trip over seas…. I hate having to carry half full water bottles.

    • +10

I hate having to carry half full water bottles.

      then carry half empty ones…

Made in China? Can this be trusted (as in the bottles wont have dangerous chemicals)?

    • That's what the "BPA Free" is about.. BPA=Bisphenol A, a plasticiser that is the main target of elimination in food plastics…
I'd definitely recommend washing these before use of course.

    • Fair point. It might not have BPA but that doesn't mean it's free of other questionable chemicals (for those concerned). Of course dodgy products can be made anywhere and if it's BPA free then hopefully there's less risk of those other ones too.

  • OP are these Original Vapur Anti Bottles?

    • +1

While we are waiting for a reply… How to spot a counterfeit Vapur bottle
Originals ones are made in the US not China it would seem. Hmmm…

      • The link you posted states that Vapur have very recently re-designed the bottle and it is now 18 oz capacity. As these are 16 oz (looking at the pictures), could it be that these are run-out items making way for the new model?

    • +1

The title doesn't mention the Vapur brand specifically - but does mention it twice in the description passage. Perhaps a botched copy paste job.

      • Which raises suspicions. If it was genuine I would put the brand name in the title of the product rather than be generic…

      • yeah, most probably fakes, especially at this price

    • the pictures also show "Vapur" on the side of the bottles…

      • …as do counterfeit ones.

        • +2

yeah i read that. my comment was more as a followup to the mention of the word vapur in the description (ie it also appears in the product picture). so it seems that these are either old genuine vapur bottles, or fakes. but that's going by the info on topbuy's site, and assuming what you actually receive matches the pictures :)

  • Out of stock….

  • Out of stock :-(

  • Come on rep, doesn't seem that there that many available !! Tempted to neg.

    • Maybe removed when they checked the packaging (see my comment above)? ;-)

  • Way too small. It's 473 ml which isn't even worth it.

  • went to order…out of stock :(

  • Back in stock!
BTW, where does it say "Made in China"???

    • I couldn't find an ad reference either but I think it was a question being asked by bazza236 (and not yet answered by rep)

  • nabbed three for myself and family. Thanks.

  • +3

It seems we will have to set up a color trading scheme… similar to the ETS, but without the million dollar marketing campaign

    • what if we all got Pink?

      • we'll e-lynch the rep?

      • What if you got fake plastic bags with bogus claims worth < $3 each? Until the Rep answers the questions posed I wouldn't be buying let alone drinking from it.

  • Got 5 for friends and family =)
    Cheers~

  • Special Note:
This product will be despatched from our overseas warehouse and may take upto 15 working days to be delivered

how safe to drink from these plastics "made in china"?

  • +1

uh, i'd like to ask one question-if these roll up flat and don't take much space why do you have to pay $3 shipping for each additional item?? why not $2, or $1? it would definitely encourage people to buy multiples

    • FAQ on the topbuy site.

Q: What will delivery cost me?
We ship hundreds of parcels each day, and as a result have negotiated competitive rates with our carriers. We do not make a profit on delivery charges so we effectively pass on the rate charged to us, to you.

So no, they don't profit from shipping. oh wait, hang on…

  • if you order 3 and they process & send them individually i can understand(but what a waste of packaging!) but if they charge you full shipping for each item but send them in one package they would have saved some money but not passed it on to us in the form of a shipping discount, is this what they mean by "We do not make a profit on delivery charges"?

  • Yep I also brought 5!!!

  • +1

should be good to get grog on to my next cruise

  • not really sure how well it would get cleaned in a dishwasher :/

    • then dont be so lazy, wash it yourself.

  • so is this original or counterfeit?

  • heh, platypus bottles only cost $8 for a 32oz (1 litre) bottle

    • They got some good reviews on amazon but sell for $15 there. Where were you able to get them for $8?

    • +1

Where can I find them for $8?

    • +1

where? link or ban… not that I have the ability to ban anybody.

  • hmm almost gone but says sold out.

  • aww damn I didn't go on the computer earlier

    • 11/04 Correction: Hooray I missed out on the counterfeit bottles!! yay!!!!!!

  • I have put me e-mail down for when they get restocked they will contact me. Does this mean I will be able to get them at the promotional rate?

  • +7

I'm glad they are portable. I'm sick of having to go home to drink from my non-portable drink bottles everytime I'm thirsty.

  • I wanted one too, so checked ebay, and errr

    lower score but same colours
    http://cgi.ebay.com.au/Folding-water-bag-480ml-colorful-Reus…

even cheaper and higher score, but different colours
    http://cgi.ebay.com.au/Folding-Water-Bottle-Carabiner-480ml-…

dont look as good as on the topbuy page aye….lol..

anyways gonna get a few. so yeah there you have it if u missed out,

theres another guy selling it for $3.99 in AUD also incase well idk for what reason people prefer that.
    http://cgi.ebay.com.au/Folding-Water-Bottle-Carabiner-480ml-…

oh and these are 480mL they say not 400mL just incase you get that one technical person

  • +2

They are fake…. but does anyone know where the authentic ones can be purchased in Australia? $30 shipping for 2 fro the US is a bit too much….

And I am negging as the description falsely identifies them as Vapur brand… when they are not

    • just curious, but what made you think these ones are fake and how can you spot a real one?

      • How to spot a real one: http://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/42395#comment-431546

Reasons to believe these are fake (Again, covered in comments above):
        1) No brand name in product title (here or on retailers site). Why would make it generic when the brand is the biggest selling point?
        2) Dodgy cut and paste of text (Ripped from Vapur site) in description. Why not reference genuine site if same?
        3) No official packaging shown in pics (If it says "Made in China" it's fake)
        4) Official Vapur site has gone to the effort of warning people of fakes. Obviously widespread prob.
        5) Price is suspiciously low for an original product (Compare other sites via Google)
        5) Rep hasn't answered any of the questions raised

Enough to make me hit the red neg. I'm surprised people are so keen to part with their money when there's no confirmation that they are getting a genuine product! If a product is fake, like this ebay one (They ripped several Vapur images to con the gullible but showed a couple of their own with "Made in China" packaging), why would people be so sure to believe any claims about it ie, that it's actually made from BPA free plastic, let alone risk sticking it in kids mouths? You may as well reuse your own plastic bottles free.

  • Bigger & cheaper with a bulk discount. Less colour variety, though not like it matters when you don't get a choice.

    http://www.buyincoins.com/details/folding-water-bottle-with-…

    Fail again, topbuy.

    • The topbuy ones will be 16 oz (which is 473ml) as that is the size they are made in.

The ones from buy in coins will be the same.

Are the buy in coins ones going to be genuine?

      • Always avoid those incredible cheap goods and service, particularly from Chinese vendor. Unfortunately even Buyincoins is selling counterfeits PayPal still sponsors them. All your hard earn money will end up importing rubbish from them and eventually send to Austrlia landfill.

  • +4

If these end up being counterfeits. Report TopBuy to:
    http://counterfeit.com.au/
    FairTrade
and send an email to [email protected]

    • …and ban them here for misleading Ozbargain readers.

  • sold out

  • This is in Stock again.

  • fake

  • fake

  • Yep, can we keep this thread open for the onslaught when they finally arrive.

I paid with PayPal, so presumably I can just claim a refund and can avoid posting them back since they are [allegedly] fake?

  • +1

Confirmation from Vapur that these products from TopBuy are counterfeit/fake:

"Yes, these are counterfeit Anti-Bottles. We are doing our best to expand to Australia soon. We hope to have Vapur in stores in OZ by the end of the year.

Counterfeit items are not permitted here, http://www.ozbargain.com.au/wiki/help:banned_items.

Removing link, keeping deal open for discussion purposes.

    • Is that really a confirmation though? Just because they don't have an anuthorised distributer in Oz yet doesn't prove that they are fake.

We should probably wait until someone actually receives them before making the call I reckon.

      • According to daydream, the VAPUR rep states these are counterfeit.

and #2, the rep has had 5 days to respond to these claims. The rep was last online on the 9th.

Happy to retract this if this information is wrong.

      • Please let us know when you receive your order Stumo (and others who may have ordered). For the health of your kids I hope all our suspicions (and Vapurs) are incorrect…

        • Yes I will certainly report back here once they arrive.

  • Isn't the fact that vapur is made in USA and not China clearly show they are fake??
They should be banned, especially since the appeal of Vapur is a health issue in regards to safety
    of the product.

    • Until someone who purchased one can confirm there is nothing which says that the ones topbuy are selling are from china

      • since they have been proved as counterfeit and may pose health issues, are we going to be able to get a refund or should we just throw them in the bin?

        • well I tried to get a refund but apparently they've already sent it, however the response I got kind of suggest that these are counterfeit:

Hi, Id like to cancel this order as I have confirmation from Vapur that these are counterfeit. Please refund this to me asap. Thanks

Hi there, your order has been shipped by 11 April, it is too late to cancel it now. Sorry for any inconvenience caused. Regards

i know a way to get a refund, BUT, it is not ethical, so to say

    • Yeah I did that when they reneged on their 2 for 1 memory stick deal way back when. So instead of 2 for 1, I got 1 for 0. Eye for an eye and all that.

  • what is that non ethical way?

    • PM me HERE and i will message you in a few hours(can't access my mail @ school)

  • I received my items today. Three blue. Stamped BPA free and maid in china.

They look and smell ok but disappointing they are dodgy counterfeits
