I own one of these, dead quiet and half the price of the kogan model. Doesn't have a remote or blue annoying light

    • Yet onsite comments say it is a bit noisy.

  • I got my 10% off code in a few minutes. Order placed for two fans. Winning!

  • Good luck. I hope this year they're shipping fans that actually fit together, unlike what they shipped me last year, and then followed up with lousy service. I wouldn't touch this. The Bunnings offer looks vastly more attractive to me.

  • Bought one.. needed a fan. My 10-20$ bunnings ones only seem to last a season anyway

  • +2

No idea why I bought this but I'm a fan.

  • +2

Ordered 3 based on household needs and votes on this deal - hope I end up being a fan.

  • Anyone having issues getting the back cover of the remote off to put the battery in? (profanity) no idea how to get this thing off without snapping it

    • +1

Squeeze the tab to the left then at the same time push up using the small horizontal tab.

      • I eventually worked this out after nearly hacking the whole back off. However fan is setup and working well, thing is a beauty.

        • The only thing I'm not liking is the blade. Its a bit flimsy for my liking.

          • @Sergeant Salami: It is but im assuming that adds to the design and the reason for the silent mode. As long as its caged up and spinning im happy :)

  • bought

  • Received mine and one part was missing :(

    • which/what part?

      • Base was missing and they have not responded to my email. How long does it take Kogan to send a missing part?

        • That sucks. I hope u get the base soon.

Had it sitting in my cart for a few days, they sent me a 10% off code for "cooling products" (1 time only code).

    • same! stacks with 10% off kogan vouchers on ebay too!

    • Lucky shits. :)
I've had one in cart for few days as well but no extra 'cooling' bonus email for me :(
What will irk me more is that price will most likely drop to $59 or might even be $49 towards end of summer like they did last year. Got tempted then except would be waste of 6-7 months warranty due to lack of use.

Hey Guys, got the fan today. Good news is, the lights automatically turn off after about 15 seconds, so i'm stoked :)

  • +1

Received the fan today. Awesome fan! So quiet even in low speed. Lcd auto turn off after 30 sec. Might order another one for the summer.

    • +1

ummm; nothing. It's the same item :)

  • +1

also received the fan today, the LCD turn off in around 20 secs.

  • Price has gone back up to $119.

  • Got the fan, Kogan's QC is unfortunately terrible.

Out of the box front cage is damaged. Have messaged Kogan to get a replacement front cage but for a "premium fan" this is a bit of a joke. Not as a bad as the guy above me whos fan came without a base though.

Does this thing not have a memory?

When you turn it off and on again later it reverts back to default setting (fan power 10)

  • My fan came without the bass screw / knob… Guess it doesn't get the premium Kogan quality control

    • Got mine today, came with a bit of plastic broken off. Also the remote clip snapped as soon as i tried to attach it to the pole. Oh and it makes a loud creaking noise when it reaches each end of oscillation…

Other than those annoyances, it does work pretty well. Not sure if I can be bothered returning it, but I will let them know about the broken bits.

      • I like the fan but also have the creaking noise at end of oscillation.I dont use oscillation anyway and cant be bothered getting it replaced.

  • Sorry Op, I have to revoke my vote on this deal. Received missing part like some people and Kogan is not committed to sending the part.

    • Rewrite: Sorry Op, I have to revoke my vote on this deal. Received fan with missing part like some people and Kogan is not committed to sending the part.

  • Received mine yesterday. Works well. No build quality issues like some others are experiencing. Very happy with it so far - much more powerful than the cheap fans I am used to.

  • No complaints on mine - I really dig the remote too. Good purchase

  • +3

Is there a way to turn off the beeping?

  • Just got mine too. Very happy with it. The 26 speed is amusing and the remote is stress free and easy to use.

  • Ordered on 16/12.
Shipping information received by Australia Post on 17/12.
Hasn't arrived in Perth by 03/01, lodged an enquiry with Kogan.
Offered a full refund 04/01 as they have none in stock.

    • I had the same shipping information as well but apparently they're investigating and its been escalated with a senior team member to look into. Pretty disappointing if its no longer in stock..

      • +1

"I can confirm that your order has been dispatched however, we've been advised by the courier that they are unable to locate the item." Full refund given.

    • I ordered mine on 14 Dec.
Email from Kogan that dispatched on the 15th.
Email on 20th from AusPost that it's on its way.
Delivered the next day to Perth.

I also added the extra $2something for delivery insurance which I advise any new buyers to do for any future sale as original 'box' is quite thin and the insurance provides much thicker brown corrugated style double boxing to help reduce damage from 'parcel thrower' mishaps.

Happy with mine, the only minor gripe I have is that it doesn't keep settings from last use. 1st world problems

      • +3

Mine was delivered with the outer thicker cardboard box without paying extra.

        • Hmmm, I went with extra based on earlier user comments from Dec. Kogan maybe added double boxing as free after getting a few annoyed customers with damaged items not initially doing insurance?

  • Mine too
