[Orders Cancelled] Finish Quantum Max Powerball Tablets 5x60pk $29 Delivered (9.6c Each) @ KG Electronic via Amazon AU

Moved to Forum: Original Link

I was looking for some cheap powerballs and found these. Don't forget cashbacks.

EDIT - As has been pointed out by a few comments, this may be a price error and could get cancelled. We'll just have to wait and see.

EDIT 2 - Orders are now being cancelled. Make sure to leave negative feedback as Julz explained in an older post.

julz on 24/05/2018 - 22:09
Please make sure you leave negative seller feedback so they can’t use this as an opportunity to boost their Amazon rankings. You can do it via your Cancelled orders section

EDIT 3 - Reply from Amazon Support:

I have checked and see that the item is sold and fulfilled by the third party seller.
However they have cancelled order because seller doesn't have the stock with them, so the order has been cancelled.
I'm so sorry about that on their behalf.
However as the seller has violated the rules I have forwarded the request to seller support team, We'll make sure necessary actions would be taken against the sellers.
This will be taken seriously has this is reflecting on the Amazon's business and customer's trust.
Thanks for bringing this to our notice.
I would’ve head busted if it would've happened with me. I appreciate your patience and kind understanding in this case.
Please do not worry about the feedback given, this will surely be taken care and we'll make sure necessary action would be taken against the seller.
I have already forwarded the request for you. Please be assured this will be taken care.
To compensate for all the inconvenience you have faced,I'd like to issue a $5 promotional credit as a goodwill gesture and apology from my side.

    Cancelled

    "Warmest Regards" haha!

    Negative feedback advice

  • My order also got cancelled! What a load of BS!!

  • Can we petition to ban KG Electronic from Ozbargains?

    • +1

They're now under 90% positive feedback, as such are banned under posting guidelines. :)

      https://www.ozbargain.com.au/wiki/help:posting_guidelines_on…

The seller must have a minimum of 90% feedback, based on at least 10 ratings (exceptions below).
In the absence of sufficient feedback, an exception will be made if the seller has a website
An exception will also be made for items that are fulfilled by Amazon
Overseas users will not be able to post Amazon Australia deals.

      • Well, for their Amazon Australia marketplace account, as at 15:30+1000, they're above 90% NEGATIVE feedback today (99.5%) and are almost at the inverse of this requirement for the past 30 days, with 85% NEGATIVE feedback in the past 30 days, 73% neg <90d, and 43% neg <12m.

        • Think it goes by last 12 months
Apparently they waive it if they have a site though… Not sure why that makes a difference.

  • +3

Keep refreshing for a laugh… This is good fun to watch. There's 30 negative already.

  • Wow, look at the feedback count and neg % going up. Count of 60 and 43% Neg as of 11:12am

    • Yeah, 30 negative in first 10 minutes lol

There was 35 feedback before orders cancelled, since then 32 negative thus far.

      Edit: Now beyond 50 lol

  • Order was cancelled as well - Negative feedback left.

  • Like others, my order was cancelled as well.

  • Cancelled. Left appropriate feedback.

  • Got cancelled.

  • Remember to leave negative feedback. Go to orders > cancelled orders > leave feedback.

  • Yup, mine just got cancelled too.
    Negative feedback incoming…

Livechatted Amazon support and got the standard "Seller was out of stock" line. Explained the seller has a history of doing this, as well as the recent feedback shows they clearly had more than an issue of stock. Amazon rep said:

"However as the seller has violated the rules I have forwarded the request to seller support team, We'll make sure necessary actions would be taken against the sellers.
This will be taken seriously has this is reflecting on the Amazon's business and customer's trust.

I got hold of support too and got this reply. I also managed a $5 credit.

Interesting that they only gave you $5 as compo. Amazon support gave me $15, or at least said they did.

Also said that he has reported the seller's practices after I started leaning on the competition & consumer act.

        • I only got $5 too /sadface

Interesting that they used word-for-word responses for both of us.

          Hopefully something comes of it

          • @geech: Even the same spelling mistake.

This will be taken seriously "has" this is reflecting on the Amazon's business and customer's trust.

            • @Forphucsake: Yeah it's interesting. I even got the following lines (word for word):

Please do not worry about the feedback given, this will surely be taken care and we'll make sure necessary action would be taken against the seller.
I have already forwarded the request for you. Please be assured this will be taken care.

The weird thing is he only mentioned that after offering free shipping for alternative (More expensive finish tabs), and I said:

"No thankyou. The price of that product isn't competitive with alternative places. As long as feedback is received, and hopefully some kind of action is taken against the seller, I think that's the best outcome"

              Must be a chatbot!

              • @geech: i got very similar responses but not verbatim. I think they scripted a standard response for this KG incident. Still think it's a human. Trying very hard to trip it/him up as we speak.

        • -2

I was offered $5 per order after a few minutes, but it took another hour to be offered $10. I mentioned ACCC and ACL Secton 35 (Bait Advertising) and got no further in the following hour and a half.

  • Just left a neg review on Amazon.

  • cancelled

Amazon gave me $10. happy with that.

  • My order has been cancelled too. Appropriate feedback left. My card is showing a charge from yesterday too, so I'll be watching that closely, even if the email says I wasn't charged.

    • My card shows an authorisation for the $29 only not an actual charge. That'll drop off as soon as Amazon release it or after 7 days I think it is.

  • I enjoyed leaving my negative feedback.

  • Order cancelled. Appropriate negative feedback left. I'll be contacting Amazon regarding this.

  • How do you get onto live chat on amazon? i cant find it anywhere?

  • $15 credit (up to 50%) of the order credit for me. ill take it.

  • Seller's Amazon profile is looking pretty shabby. https://www.amazon.com.au/sp?_encoding=UTF8&asin=&isAmazonFu…

  • pathetic…. cancelled

  • OZBARGAINS NEG WAVVVVEEEEE - I did my part. Make sure you do yours.

    Lesson: don't make us mad…

  • Received cancellation email and left negative feedback on Amazon. Work done!!

  • $22 credit. Thanks Amazon :-)

  • Only got $5 credit

  • Did you get an email for the credit?

  • I got $50……:0

  • +2

Got a $50 gift card, sweet!

    • Will you elaborate?

      • +1

Spoke to the online chat and asked them why the order was cancelled. They gave a response and offered me a $50 gift card.

        • Thanks, they offered me $10 and I am asking for more

          • @unfunkable: Good luck. Lol, someone actually downvoted me.

            • -1

@Jamiea: Siraj Ahmed: I'm sorry there is no such customer who was credited with $50.
The limit I get here is AU$10.

oh well, I'm just pointing him to this thread lol

@unfunkable: I had the same guy and he only offered $10 too haha better than nothing though!

                • @adds02: I’ve got the same guy and he’s not offering me anything

No credit given to me 😫😫

  • I got $50, not sure if it made a difference but I left 1 STAR rating BEFORE I went on live chat…

  • What is everyone writing for their negative feedback?

  • -1

    Cancelled
    At 11 01 by Amazon.
Extremely poor seller. Amazon have wiped off order, rather than cancelling. No traceabilty. I wonder if this keeps KG Electronics sweet with Amazon? Letalone it could lead to fraudulent activities with no exterbal trace. Approx 24 hours after order is poor customer service

    • +1

It should be in your cancelled orders.

      • Yes. In cancelled orders only. Strange way Amazon do entries, you have a choice of all, but it excludes cancelled. But there is still no debit or credits showing, so cannot see money and they have closed off feedback. So KB live on wiithout mich negative feedback.I have received NO compensation, although I have requested.
I am not a nerd, but someone has given me negative vote for a legitimate complaint. Why?

  • +2

Me: are amazon able to offer any compensation for my inconvenience?
Amazon chat: Be assured that this issue is taken up by the backend team and I'd like to let you know that they are looking into the compensation for the trouble caused and will be mass communicated to all the effected customers soon.

    • Great. I got nothing offered after directly asking.

  • My chat with Amazon.com.au support staff has currently elicited no offers of compensation. Lots of sympathy, but the web chat staffer seems to be tiptoeing around the issue.

    • And then they offer me $5.00

      • -1

Still on web chat with Amazon.com.au, and after an hour and escalation to a Customer Service Associate (self-identified as from Amazon's Leadership Team), and it has increased to $10.00 :-/

        • +2

Man, I would have ended that chat so much earlier if was Amazon..

No idea how that could be classified as anything but whining for the sake of it.

Zero out of pocket, and the only wasted time was your own in that chat. Giving ozbargainers a great name there :/

          • -4

@SBOB: I didn't mention OzBargain, only reports of from other customers.

Given the usual discretionary limits for Good Will credit at Amazon AU are $20 and $50, I'm very surprised they did not offer more.

I'm very curious as to how the conversations went for those offered $50 credit.

            • @jamver: Your kind of a scumbag in that chat :/ i would never have proudly posted that trash chat… Poor form, i hope amazon check your adress and send you that $30 in 5 cent peices…

        • -3

Heh. I wonder why all the neg's. I put this up to enable a discussions on how to better handle customer service staff when dealing with these matters.

Whether I succeeded or not, I was hoping others might chime in with suggestions on how to better handle difficult live chat customer service interactions.

Also, it is interesting to see whether the specific language is constantly repeated and the arguments provided.

            @jamver:

I put this up to enable a discussions on how to better handle customer service staff when dealing with these matters.

only if that discussion was you providing an example on how to be an absolute pain in the a** customer, and in what customer service staff should be taught to hang up on ;)

in that case, excellent starting point

zero out of pocket, but still complaining that you'll not have to spend hundreds more
            - check
mentioning fraudulent activity and legal agreements
            - check
mentioning the ACL and deceptive advertising
            - check
            continually asking for compensation
            - check
repeating the same complaints over and over
            - check

            model example

        • +1

          Bro you sound so entitled.

          Seriously.

You know it's not Amazon's fault and your bitching at the CS team while insulting their grasp of English?

Take a look in the mirror. Are you happy with what you see?

  • +1

Interestingly, the KG Electronics website still says they have stock available:

    https://www.kgelectronic.com.au/p/Home-Appliances/Cleaning-H…

Might be worth pointing out to Amazon support reps trying to say they're out of stock

  • Posted my neg review, it was quite cathartic.

  • They keep telling me they can't give credit for a seller order

  • Unfortunately, they didn't budge when I spoke to them, no offers of compensation even when I hinted to them that I would be grateful receiving something.

Obviously, I was respectful towards them during the chat, but it "was out of their hands".

Oh well, it was worth the attempt.

    • -1

      Insult their english.

  • Order cancelled and negative feedback left. Look at all those neg's pile up hahah https://www.amazon.com.au/sp?marketplaceID=A39IBJ37TRP1C6&se…

    ProTip: don't upset OzBargainers!

  • +1

Amazon rep told me they are removing the credit issued to people, so hurry up and use those before they are removed!

    • Thanks to KG Electronic, got a board game for Christmas at a third of the price.

  • I got $17 - should look for something to buy ;-) ….

  • $10 credit for me

  • Amazon chat saying it was a pricing error.

  • Amazon support told me:
"I have checked and see that the order is been canceled by the seller due to the pricing error
We have noticed that this seller is done a mistake with the price"

  • +1

Amazon sent email to the seller for me, and this is the reply from The seller.
“So sorry that your order was cancelled and refunded in full, we were advised by Amazon to cancel this order, as they made a mistake on the listing.

I believe they should have contacted you to advise that they have requested us to do this, sorry if they haven't.

If you would like to know more details please contact Amazon directly and they will be able to advise you exactly what has happened.

Apologies again that this has happened.

If there is anything else we can help you with please let us know.”

    Now, who to believe? Lol

  • I just went on the livechat and was told I will receive $10 credit within 24 hours.

  • I might as well chime in as mine cancelled also

  • How are people getting Amazon credit?

    • Asking.

  • Got $10 only fml. Can't believe they give $50 to some of us.

    • -2

No matter how direct I was, I could not get them to state whether they "will not" or "cannot" provide any additional Good Will credit. All I got was a constant stream of "may not"'s!

      • +4

Lol… Stop being proud of being super scummy man..

Ozb isnt about screwing every cent at any cost, im actually pretty disapointed by the whineing in this thread… A great many of you would have bought for that free credit too…

        • I don't know if I agree with you. I haven't claimed any free credit from Amazon. I knew this would be cancelled.

They've made an error and as such should own up to it, bear the cost of that error or both.

If I walked into a store and bought these at $29 there is little recourse the retailer would have once they had taken my money. The same should apply online. The only reason that this continues is because retailers can make silly mistakes like this and then just cancel all the orders and not be out of pocket.

Whether this was a ploy to get up Amazon's rankings or a mistake, I am unsure. However, I am sure that money talks. If Amazon made the retailer fulfil the orders then this would not happen again. Amazon, of course can't and wont do that. Therefore, the only way to make sure retailers do not play this silly game is to leave appropriate feedback. In this case, negative.

          • +2

@o53djz7qTPY4der: once they had taken my money.

This. Amazon took no money until fulfillment. As legal sales work invitation to treat isnt when they display, its when you ask to buy at x price. Amazon didnt take your money hence never had any deal to supply..

Therefore that guy is kinda a tool.
