Same discounted price from JB Hi-Fi except with free shipping from Officeworks in most areas (vs $10 shipping from JB).

Commonly referred to as the LG "G6 mini", the Q6 is a 4G, dual-sim Android smartphone with expandable storage AND a headphone jack.

Not as powerful as some of the other entry-level smartphones at this price point, however, it does aesthetically look and feel like a flagship device. I was taken aback when comparing it to my own G6.

Some caveats worth mentioning:

• The back is plastic (could also be a good thing except is a scratch magnet)
• No NFC
• No USB-C
• No fingerprint sensor
• Speaker on the back instead of the bottom

Recommended for young teens or parents who can't bring themselves to spend $400+ on a flagship.

  No fingerprint unlock either, so you will be drawing patterns or using PIN to unlock device.

      I don't think its unrealistic to expect the phone to somehow recognise the hand while its being picked up or something in the future

        They have fingerprint readers in the screen so the next step is to have them on the side of the phone when you pick it up.

        Actually… I better go draw up a patent for that.
