Cheapest it’s been for a while. Cheaper with discount gift cards - eg 5% off JBHIFI or price match to rebel and get 6% off via Suncorp rewards.

    I know - it’s been around a while but it is still a good watch at this price. Great price in late 2016. Nothing confirmed but there are rumours there could be a 245 coming out “soon” but it won’t be $229.

    Spec's still pretty current, I imagine Garmin are managing the model changeover by reducing stock levels to protect the Vivoactive 3.

    Stark contrast to fitbit's trash that breaks after 12 months (if it lasts that long), by which time it gets superceded by a newer model so they offer a discount as compensation… milking customers for all they can.

      I don't know any runners who use Fitbit, everyone I know uses Garmin or Suunto.

      And yeah, mine is going strong after two years, ultras, marathons, wild weather etc. Replaced the watch band on mine recently.

    Rebel will only price match. OW don't stock anymore. Looking for other ideas.

      As op mentioned rebel will only price match but then you can use 10% gift cards to make it cheaper.

  How do you get 10% off for Rebel? I'm only seeing 6% discount in the Suncorp Rewards app

    Thanks. You’re right - they’ve decreased it to 6%.

    Very dissapointing that they’ve slowly been decreasing a lot of their deals since moving to this new app over the benefits website. Rebel was 10%, JBHIFI 7.5%, David Jones 10%, Myer 6% etc.

  Excellent price for what is still a good watch. We bought 2 last Christmas when they came down to $244. Still saw them until recently “on sale” for $299.
