To most there won't be $300 worth of difference between the models but some improvement include:
Smaller fold especially the seats
Better braking system
The ability to have a bench seat
4 wheel suspension
But it's a bit heavier

Both of these can convert to a double pram. However if you don't think you will use it this way, I'd suggest a smaller pram.
