  I'm not sure of the quality of these things. I've had Hitachi made power tools in the past and they've been great. However looks like they've dumped TVs.

  Quality is pretty average - certainly don't buy it for the smart features. The Philips (no-name rebadge Philips, but far better picture quality) would be a better buy in my opinion. Essentially on par with Linden and Soniq (i.e. it depends on the panel whether it's ok enough or pretty garbage).
