oi (profanity) stuff it where the sun don't shine. (profanity)

I have this. The barbie itself is fine. The wheels are shit and broke off pretty quick. Also it's faded to hell from the sun, but whatever. Still cooks fine.

cheers mate you're a top bloke for giving me the good word on this barbie
        have yourself a bonza chrissy

This is the review I needed. Once its on the balcony it isn't going anywhere and doesn't need to look good. It just needs to overcook snags and burgers.

      • Mate did the barbie come with a ken? Cheers.

      Some reviews here: https://www.productreview.com.au/p/jumbuck-4-burner-flat-pla…

Sounds like the main issues are not enough heat from the gas sources and the hotplate coating coming off. Both of these would be pretty significant issues for a BBQ so I'd probably avoid.

As is the case with all the cheap Bunnings brands - you get what you pay for. It's not going to be the same quality/durability as a Weber but you're also not going to be paying the premium of buying a Weber.

Jumbuck - cheap construction, cheap materials and low heat.
On ours (a bigger one than this), the stainless steel started to rust.

    • +2

thats stuffed, the only rust in my backyard should be my Red Heeler Rusty.
Cheers mate, I'll cut this deal away I reckon

I wouldn't bother unless it can be kept in the shed or garage. Won't last out in the elements.

I lift the hood, use my strong hands to turn the dial, sofly light the gas and whisper, "G'day mate!"

    • that just sounds highly (profanity), in a good way

I'm looking for a cheap, small BBQ for my balcony. Any suggestions at this price range?

    • +5

At that price range, one of these for sure: https://imgur.com/gallery/4iKjMNd

Rarer than rocking horse (profanity) though!

      • That's brilliant, especially the bit about the ignition taking a few clicks to light up, just like an Alfa-Romeo.

  • -2

Hah, watch the hotplate warp when heated up. I'd go with a Weber or nothing.

    • +1

I've had mine a couple of years, no warping. The plates are the best bits of the whole thing.

  • Thats not a flat top bbq, thats the cheap one

This is a flat top https://www.bunnings.com.au/jumbuck-4-burner-flat-top-delta-…
