Or you can not get a Mazda again cause the same upgrade in Canada is about $250 (taking into account exchange rates) and Mazda AU are taking owners for a ride.
Canada is $250 CAD plus $200CAD fitting fee… so $450CAD , Brother lives there and just had it done at a mazda dealer
Some cars are being done for CAD$250 (Mazda 6's) most for CAD$450.
Aussie Mazda customers are getting ripped off, Canadians are getting it heaps cheaper. Should really only cost $200 - $300 to upgrade (if Mazda really valued their Aussie customers). This is NOT good value.

This is an absolute joke… they have been phasing their old system out and getting the customer to foot the bill for it. Will they at least be upgrading the USB ports to 5V 2A in this upgrade?
When I bought my Mazda 3 in September this year, I was under the impression that I would get a free upgrade to Android Auto. Guess I was so wrong - I was looking at an i30 at that time as well and maybe I should have.
Was that upgrade part of the deal? Any notes that you could use to get them to fit it for free?
maybe you could ask them to fit for free if you buy the parts?
There's no mention of it in any of the paperwork. Doubt there's anything I can do. Bought the car during the M day which includes useless $500 accessories. They should have given out free android auto upgrade voucher or something as it wasn't available yet that time.
Is it worth getting one? I mean how better it is then MZD Connect?
