  • Untz untz untz. Doof doof doof. These don’t have bass. :(

    • Most bluetooth headsets are lacking bass because it drains the battery quicker and because of poor fit. The only ones I tried that have good bass are the Bose.

Garbage, bass is fine if you fit the correct size caps. I thought there was no bass until I fit the largest size now I turn the bass down on the equaliser.

      • I don't understand the complaints for bass, as you said if you have a good seal theres more than enough bass.

  • Just got these for the missus and they're only alright - as cnut said, no bass.

The mic is also atrocious, which isn't surprising since it's all the way back at your ear - sounds like you're underwater and pretty much unusable.

Would only recommend if you had points to burn like I did which makes it cheap - the only way to justify the mediocre quality.

They are $221.40 on Amazon.com.au shipped free directly from Jabra.

Then use the office works price beat guarantee and would come down to $210.33. $10 more cash but get to save your qantas points if you dont want to spend them and can probably get them before Xmas where as qantas mall can take ages to deliver sometimes.

  • Grabbed the Active version from JB a week ago and immediately had issues with imbalance between the left and right audio channels (the left side was louder). Apparently causing a lot of grief for some other 65t owners. Currently weighing up whether to take them back or invest more time troubleshooting.

  • Whats warranty like from qantas?

I was very close to buying these during the $180 deal, but I'm so glad I stopped myself. Picked up the QCY T1C for 28 bucks on AliExpress instead and I am so impressed. They are on par sound quality wise with my Jaybird X2, I've only tried voice calling once via WhatsApp and the person I was chatting with said the voice quality was acceptable (I'll test it further later). They work suprisingly well, just pop them out the case and they auto connect to my phone, ready to play. Put it back in the case and they turn off. It's BT 5.0 as well so no lag when watching videos.

Flossy says QCYs are trash… Id tend to trust his judgement lol

      • Try it and you will change your view. I bought QCY T1C from geekbuying black Friday deal and surprised on their sound quality.

And who supplies him with the tech that he reviews?

Seriously these things are WAY OVERRATED! I am on my 2nd pair in just over 3 months ad they both suffer from the same atrocious Bluetooth interference especially in the city where it is likely to be congested. I have a pair of 3-year-old Plantronics Backbeat Fit and they leave these for dead. Even my Samsung Level U's are leaps and bounds ahead of these. If you really want this style of Bluetooth headphones I would only shell out a minimal amount for the QCY T1C. Having said that I cannot fault Jaybird for there customer service as they sent me the 2nd pair without me requiring to sending the originals back so I have 2 pairs of shit Bluetooth earphones for the exorbitant price that they charge for one pair.
