An event by Mission Australia designed to share the spirit of Christmas with people in Perth who are experiencing homelessness, vulnerability or disadvantage.

The Joondalup Christmas Lunch is an event to provide a free Christmas Lunch to local community residents who have nowhere to go, have no family, are lonely or who cannot afford a meal of their own, or are isolated on Christmas Day.

The day consists of providing a sit down Christmas lunch to white linen draped tables with white crockery and shiny cutlery, in a wonderfully decorated atmosphere representing the Christmas spirit.

This event is held in a smoke-free environment and alcohol is not permitted on site.

  Good post. I'm hoping all the other states hold activities like this. Being lonely on Christmas Day is not cool.
