  If the sample footage out there is anything to go by, I’d probably steer clear. In all the samples I’ve seen, the only license plate that could even be made out was a car stopped at lights 2m in front of the cam. I’d think being able to read license plates of the cars you’re potentially trying to record would be considered a basic requirement for a dash cam.
