4 days battery in theory, 2.5 in reality maybe. Not good enough

    • +2

Fitbit usually delivers promised battery life.
There are many reviews claimed this one can

    • I get 4 days on mine.

    • I have an Ionic that has all day connectivity to my phone and I get about 5 days battery life at least. Versa has the same size battery with the same features so I have no doubt if it says 4 days, it means 4 days

      • +1

My Amazing bip connect to my phone all day, I get 40+ days on one charge. My record is 63 days with some left.

        • sounds like a cool watch. will get one when there is a good deal here

          • @CyberMurning: It's a very budget version. Battery lasts ages but that's because it doesn't really do anything - notifications suck, mi fit app sucks, GPS tracking is fine. No smart alarm function, can't reply to notifications. No NFC. Can't set multiple timers or do anything whilst you're using the time/stopwatch.

I paid about $60 for mine and wouldn't pay any more if I were to buy it again.

Was hoping it would replace my pebble, but it's not anywhere near as good. I mean, it's fine, but not really"good" if you get my drift.

            Battery life is 🔥 though

    • I have a versa and it lasts more than 4 days.

Why do you say it doesn't?

  • Does Cash Rewards work with amazon.com? Or is it just the AU site?

  • Does this one have NFC built in? Will it work here in Australia for payments?

    • +1

In America the normal version doesn't have NFC, you need the special version but in rest of the world like Australia all Fibit Versa editions have NFC

      • +1

So this version is normal or special?

        Edit. Normal for sure.

    • +4

It does not have NFC (easy response to your question)

    • Why does it matter so much? Tap pay is just a small nfc sticker that banks give for free.

      • How small is your bank's one? The one I have is nearly half the size of a credit card. If I stick it on my phone I won't be able to use any of my other NFC cards on my phone, and it certainly isn't going to stick to a watch.

        • Call you bank and ask for a smaller one for the watch

          • @ozdesi: Do you have one, or have you seen one? How small are they?

    • Yes for NFC. Doesn't work with all banks as they use FitPay.

For instance my commonwealth bank card works but it didn't support my citibank card.

The deal-breaker for me here is that it doesn't support Spotify. Sure it has Pandora and Deezer but I've yet to meet a soil that uses them

    • +5

How many soils have you met? Any fertile ones?

      • some shit ones.

        • Great, they're generally the most fertile.

    • It does have a third party app store, Spotify-HR

    • Doesn't have the Spotify app (Does the Apple Watch even have it? My wife can't find it on her S3) but you can control the app on your phone as a remote control which I do through the Music app

  • This authentic?

    • Yes, it's sold by Amazon

  • +1
  • The versa bands are a pain to change. Those pins are so difficult to manipulate

    • +1

It literally takes like 2 minutes.

    • Don't have a Fitbit. How often do you need to change them …..

  • +2

Looks like the deal is over…price @ $124 US now

    • I got $148 US

  • Not interested unless it can play spotify. I don't wear watches and I'm not carrying two devices when jogging.

    • +4

      No pressure..dont buy..

  • I wish they put a GPS in this thing, it looks so much better than the Ionic.

  • Damn back up to $148

  • +1

Sorry I never got round to posting when valid, but it was $178 with good guys eBay 20% off. If not in arush it is the best local deal I have seen so may be worth waiting till deal pops up again. Aus version with NCF. I got 2 for gifts.
