8 left at Rockdale Plaza, not to be confused with the above-the-trains ALDI at Kogarah Train Station.

Total bargain and cheaper than their current 4-person tent.

Also on sale, though I didn't pay attention to the exact prices, were the Ceiling Fan and the Cast Iron Camp Stove as mentioned by this previous post (https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/409502).

      Of course, tent capacities are always stated in a range from optimistic to can of sardines.

      But I mean fitting 10 people in a 10 man tent isn't really any more optimistic than fitting 4 people in a 4 man tent. These aren't small tents

    Too bad Aldis don't put the same clearance prices on at all stores.

    My local one would have 10 of those freestanding (little person) retro arcades - but still wants $399 for them. Yet some folks have found them down to $199 now.

      There's a high chance that the 8 are still there because I saw 10 on Thursday@5pm and came back to buy 2 on Friday@5pm (one's for friends we're camping with this Boxing Day). There didn't seem much interest in them.

      One comes across some Aldis that don't move (expensive) stock too well and have to deeply discount products to clear storage space.. Rockdale Plaza felt like one such Aldi (and Rosehill was another - but, damn, I tried looking it up and it's not officially listed any more.. it's closed?).

    $249 is a big ask for this tent. $149 should have been the RRP price. Quality isn’t great, i bought a few weeks ago (last one on store), it was brand new and it had some scratches and the bag was ripped already. I returned it.

        Easy to setup. But as an instant tent the bag is long. There is no internal door btw rooms. The fly sheet wont cover the windows.

    Nuts. I bought this at full price and for what it cost it served it's purpose. The walls are thin and ours had a few light holes coming through and the rain fly just covers the top and the top 30cm around.

    Was simple to setup and take down and kept us dry through rain and wind.

    10 person is pretty optimistic, 8 adults will be tight, 6 would be comfortable.
