What a bargain! Weren't these $6,000,000 not that long ago (tongue firmly in cheek)?

    • I'd see a doctor about that.

    • My Rangehood was $2799(checked at the good guys, HN). Complete joke RRP

Grays online $220 inc fees. Brand new Blanco

  • Insane deal. Will sell out

But the entire product is covered by sign :).

    • +2

I thought about taking a photo of the product, but it was gonna be a sideway shot (the front covered by the sign). And it's the same thing you'll see from the product page anyway.

      • -1

Just having a joke bud… I know you can see it in the product page ;).

  • +1

Wow! I'll fly from Sydney to pick it up!

FYI. Ikea Adelaide is franchised, so unlikely that the price is that low on the east coast.

    • +1

I don’t think this is the case anymore. Company owned I am pretty sure.

      • +2

Yep you're right - all Ikea stores in Australia are now owned by Ikea … WA and SA became proper stores earlier this year!! It's why you no longer need to choose which state you're in when you visit their website.

        • +1

And they're no longer profitable as Ikea do the same as they did in the other states and shift all the profit overseas via "franchise" and "licensing" fees. Yet the government goes after the little people by adding GST to low value personal imports…….

      • You're right. I missed that news!

  • Love the svavande collection! 🤣

    can i broden these?

    • +1

By all means, buy as many as you can, so you end up with 20 rangehoods you can’t sell.

      • it's ok i have a white van

  • any other rangehood on sale?

    • +4

Not a huge range I'm afraid.

        Dad?

      • -1

        Agreed, not really a fan

    • Yes, there were but I didn't really take much notice of it. The discount wasn't as high as this one.

  • +4

Spec is pretty weak, good ones move around 1,000m³/h of air at 50dB noise.

  • It's $499 on their website ?

  • +1

Anyone seen it this price elsewhere or is it just Adelaide? QLD stores appear to be out of stock according to Ikea website.

  • Ikea plenty Christmas decoration 75% off now, part of the clearance sale.

  • Check reviews? Usually when it's this cheap something is wrong with the product.

    • Or they ordered to many, or is not selling very well, or it's an old model

      • Reviews are good, made in Italy is Whirlpool and made in Turkey is Electrolux. They are rebranded to Ikea.

I just called to confirm price in Perth - it is $499 here, unfortunately.

    • Crazy, because there's more in stock in Perth than there was in Adelaide.

    OOS.

45 extractor hoods sold in less than a day. Good effort!

    • Brodened, perhaps.

  • Hey guys these are not out of stock in SA, I picked one up this arvo. They've got one hooked up on the floor if you want to check airflow/noise levels.
