Officeworks Price Match - Now You Can Match Price with eBay if The Seller Is Australian Business with Aus Physical Address

I called the Officeworks about the price match, and the staff said now we can match the price with eBay if the seller is Australian Business with ABN and physical address in Australia. But they don't match the price with private sellers on eBay. I thought I can share with you guys , you can get some benefit. Thanks

      Agree, this has always been the case. OW have price matched Oz sellers from eBay many times over the years for me.

        It has officially been the case, but in practice, a lot of people have had trouble price-matching at Officeworks with any retailer, let alone eBay. Myself included.

          Yeah I recently tried to get them to pricematch Domayne.com.au on a router and after much deliberation and back and forthing, the manager said they would do it 'Just this once, but never again.' It wasn't a clearance item or anything, just a better price. Bloody embarrassing experience.

            @Ge3ks: Most negative price match experiences are had in-store. I don't bother any more. It's much better to call Officeworks 1300 number to price match. It's quicker, easier and less hassle.

      I agree. Maybe they are just clarifying something or putting it out there to drum up publicity and get people into the shops for Xmas/Boxing Day.

    Wow, this is great but too late for me. TGG refused to match Myer's Ebay 20% sale last week only to have their own 20% Ebay sale a few days later.
