  There was a review on the Harvey Norman product page that stated the hub doesn’t recognise the HDMI connection for the Switch.

  It works with galaxy tab s4 for dex mode.
  But for note 8 it supports only mirroring.
  Unfortunately it constantly lost signal when connected to my tv so I had to return it. It was ok with my computer monitor though

Hm.. Cygnett is same quality as any ebay non-brands. not worth getting it, the connector will be loosen after a few uses..
