This is for low seasons next year but its still an amazing deal. You barely get to Melbourne from Sydney return for this price!
Although the seats are the same size and width as you get on a MEL-SYD flight too… 30" pitch and 16.5" width is super squeezy…
Both times I've flown if snagged a full row on the way home for an overnight flight, so was able to semi lie-down .
I can second that, i once booked 12 seats for group trip to Boracay and each way we all had a row to lay down in. Basically the whole middle section of the A330 was empty.
Then i took a $3AUD CebuPacific flight from Manila to Kuwait a few years ago and there was not one seat free. Just depends on the time and destination i guess.

Under $200 return for an international flight is just incredible!
return flights are almost always empty in the middle you can lay down 9 times out of 10. Cebu Pacific count on it being late. If it's on time, all the planets have aligned

trip.com has syd > philipines one way, slightly more expansive but still very cheap. I can not find any on cebu.
Can't find the OP's Sydney example on the Cebu website.
