So far we haven't seen any decent PS4 Pro deals come through and Amazon's boxing day sale has already started, do you think we're gonna see any delays in the 400ish range?

    There was a Deal of the Day on PS4 Pro early this year (lasted a whole day). $360 with some sort of unique fortnight code that sold for $65+ on gumtree. So, it cost people less than $260 with 10% cashback. If you are wishing, then wish for that one :).

    I keep refreshing too in hopes, getting our first 4K TV tomorrow (55", quite a step up from our old 1080p 40"!) and wanted to replace the Slim with a Pro… not looking good. :(

      Go for a One X while you wait. The Pro will have to be a pretty big upgrade from the Slim to be worth it IMO - keeping in mind the Slim will already do HDR on the right HDMI port on your new TV.

        I would but I have a $400ish budget after spending so much on the TV lol… thinking of maybe getting a One S for now just to stream 4K stuff.

    Nothing new on the usual suspect's websites. I hope these "boxing day" deals aren't the same deals from the past few days. I was hoping for a ps4 under $250.

            @presentv: Since no retailer is going to put ps4 on a deal, there will be no deal i guess, even harvey norman deal got removed. Sigh, i guess no ps4 for me this year

              @Meliodas: Just get the current amazon deal for a slim. On another note, JB and EB are not even price matching on consoles today. Sad day indeed for retail ps4 deals.

                  @presentv: Yeah they are. If you buy from JB you can get assasins creed odessey for $39.

                  I was very disappointed with these ps4 sales today. I bit the bullet and just bought the slim from jb for $279.

    I was planning on getting a Pro today, but after seeing these deals - I probably wont… Not sure if I should just get the slim or wait it out for a week or two to see if the price lowers.

    If the stores do not have enough stock of PS4 pro for putting it on sale, any ideas if they will put on a sale once they have stock??

    Now tossing up between waiting or just buying the Slim + extra controller for ~$250…

    If this drops to $350 I might grab one before the ps5 comes out.

    If I am being honest though, don't expect much of a difference if you already own a base PS4. Played my friends I couldn't tell the difference lol..

    Various retailers confirmed that PS4 Pro consoles sold out prior to Christmas. New stock arrived this week or in coming month. However, pricing set by Sony and unlikely to see 400ish deals in the immediate future.
