my gold cups run small, possibly because I don't wear socks with boat shoes so looser fit is a bit more comfy, I went 1/2 size up.
Being myer, exchange or refund is easy if wrong size.
I just worry that there won't be any sizes to exchange to come Boxing Day!
does it get smelly without socks ?

Yes, wear no show socks unless you are actually on a boat and going to get wet.
These can be had from $50-$60 at DFO outlets from the Converse stores. I bought a couple pairs as spares (Amaretto & Brown w. white soles) a few weeks back.
What is the sizing like?
I wear EU size 40 or 41 for a few boat shoes I have.
Are they true to size or do they run big?
