Edit: unfortunately, the price has changed to $69.
The spool size increases with the series number, in turn, increasing line capacity. For example, I would use a 9500 on a surf rod. In other words, bigger reel.

yep should be fine, drag is only 4.9KG so not the best, but for this price it is pretty good,

Online has updated the price, so went in store and they refused to match - claimed it might be a clearance. Don’t know how if it’s still on sale….
Then showed them their eBay store at the lower price and again refused to match - claimed the eBay storw ia weird and isn’t really theirs…..
So just brought it on eBay in front of them for half the price.
Not the first time I have been disappointed by anaconda. Have had item not being sent and refused to be sent and online purchase issue before. Ended up with consumer affairs that time.

And a new update to the anaconda saga, brought it on eBay and have recieved confirmation from the anaconda store via email with dispatch notices like I would if I brought it online from their own store. Amazes me at how the useless employees in store not only lie about the company but also then don’t want to help. They have now cost me an extra $10 in postage that I shouldn’t have had to pay! Anaconda are a joke of a company! Pack of pricks!

I think he was having a go at their ways of working, rather than the bargain itself. I wish I had got this when I had the time.
@lordra: I know what he meant. Just a bit over the top when he got a "half price" bargain. Online is almost always different to retail, even with the same company.

I actually had it in my cart for a while and almost bought it. I was going to try and trade it for the 6500…but then i realised that sounded like too much work!
Sorry, noob question, what do the larger numbers signify? It seems to get heavier with the higher numbers.
