do these come with a plug/driver ?
The box says explicitly you require an electrician is to install the product.
In saying that there is a couple of possibilities they run mains 240v through a transformer hard wired to the fitting which is double insulated (no earth)
so if you had pre existing downlight that were plugged into (413 or 414) effectively an unswitched 240v outlet for lighting meaning you can keep your hard wired switch in the system if need be.
Your mate could take / re use the plug from the old transformer that was plugged into the mains / on the old downlight and connect it to the screwed terminals on the new transformer plug it in and away job done.
Otherwise they would need to tap into your lighting circuit and connect it up.
Took me an hour to put 4 up in the kitchen, most painful part was cutting a larger hole but you can use the cardboard packing as a template and just cut on the outside of line you draw to give you a little wiggle room
So why have you made the deal to Bunnings if Amazon is cheaper? Price matching isn’t a bargain.
