Around $250 new elsewhere. Manufacturer Refurb, Mentions in their terms they will replace/refund faulty items if not working.

Have bought from this mob before without problems, they used to be known as boxlots.com.au

I already have a Tefal Steam Generator Iron, and if you've never used one before, the difference is unbelievable, so much quicker and a better result.

Also available is the GV6720 for the same price.

    Both have now sold out. I was about to buy the 6770 and it sold out while I was about to complete checkout. Probably a good thing, since I'll likely get little use from it. I never iron. I just wear things that come out ok from the wash and use my $3 iron when I really really need it.

    I went to warehouse and they have plenty stock you can go there directly and buy from them they are boxed in brown generic boxes i opened a random box to take a look and seemed ok to me not new as stated it is refurbished was told all have been tested before being packaged and are working for $39 you can't complain is what it is

    Received my GV6770 today. But can't get the steam generator to work. it keeps flashing blue. Anyone else?

      If it's anything like my model, it means it hasn't got to the correct temperature yet. Takes about 4-5 mins usually for cotton.

    Just received my 6720 - part of the plastic where the iron sits is snapped off and was inside the cling wrapping. Box appeared undamaged.

    Hopefully they're good with making it good.

      I received mine this morning and it doesnt work, the buttom for steam boost is stuck and the p[lastic on the top is broker. Also was delivered in a box with cling wrap.

        Did you contact the phone number on the sheet in the box, or ibuyauction themselves? I’m having an issue with mine too, but don’t know which one will be better to contact to get it repaired.

          I contacted Ibuyauctions and have been informed that their manager for online sales is away today and he would call me back tommorow. ..So will have to wait. Will keep you posted.

    Received mine earlier this week, but didn't have a chance to test it until today.

    The water tank heats up, but won't transfer steam to the iron head. Also it leaks.

    Will have to contact them tomorrow, as office hours are 8am to 4pm.

    Mine arrived today. It appears to work after a quick test. A bit of calcium in the steam holes. I'm away for the next 2 weeks, so I've left it with my mum to give it a good workout.

    Mine arrived today.

    It would have been good if they said in the listing it was shipped wrapped in cling film without the original box, manual etc. The photocopied user guide they did include is useless and it looks like they've made a copy of a copy of a copy.     Mine also has a very small crack on the top plastic (doesn't hurt the functionality at all) and had a lot of calcium in the holes (I assume it's calcium) that took a while to clean out.

    That said, I ironed a couple of shirts just then and it did a great job. Well worth the $47.
