Also worth mentioning that Nespresso should give you $50 cash back on a purchase of one of these until 15th May:

  • I loved the look of this machine when I saw it in the Nespresso shop on Collins Street the other day - the red model looked quite beautiful (and compact). The photo doesn't do it justice.

I've given it a + assuming the $50 cashback applies.

  • I have a sunbeam EM6910 but the mess is getting a bit tiresome.. thinking of getting one of these, I believe the pods end up being around the 72c for each cup of coffee

    • I've got one. It's a step up from instant, but still not close to a well made coffee using good beans and a quality machine operated by someone who knows what they're doing.

I tried all the flavours and while I don't mind the 68c ones, the 78c "premium" range are a clear step up and well worth the extra 10c. It's surprisingly easy to go through $5 worth of them a day ($1,800 a year habit…).

The Good Guys have it for $328 (pickup only), Eljo has it for $311 (but much higher shipping)…

… it's a decent deal, but not so good I feel the need to positive.

  • why get these nespressos? the price is high to begin with and then paying over 70c per cup of coffee..

just get a sunbeam for $300 and invest in decent grinder and the coffee will be so much better!

    • yes, you pay for the convenience and nespresso's do taste better given the higher pressure rating.

  • I've seen this at the Nespresso store and it does look very nice in the kitchen.

  • might want to ring up Clive Antony…
I am pretty sure it's the same one! Went in there for a browse…walked past it and see a tag $278.
It's got the Milk Frother next to it…(not sure if the price include that or not, if it does, then it's cheaper)

I have got one of this myself….it's good…only bad part is u need 2 power points going at once if u want to froth ur milk.

    • I'd be willing to wager that's the "after $50 cashback" price.
