  • $20 for me.

    • Sorry, updated the price

  • Thanks OP. Just got two for my NUCs in the office. Been looking for cheap Bluetooth speakers.

  • Cheers, got a pair. Seems slimmer than some small SONYs and cheaper than ones from Target.

I have become something of a connoisseur of the smallest BT speakers since I like having one in my pocket to listen to podcasts around the house and garden.

Unfortunately every one I have tried hasn't impressed me with some of them being terrible. Haven't tried this speaker.

My current best pick is Logitech X50 but this still has issues with controlling it - sometimes you have to push the power button repeatedly to get it to turn on or off.

I have this and plus a couple more of these still in the plastic wrap. For a tiny form factor and giving its price, this is probably one of the best ones out there. It pumps enough volume and very reasonable sound quality as well as good battery life.

      • How does it compare with the Sony SRS-X10?

  • OW pricematch?

    • Most likely pricematch at 26$ considering 6$ delivery cost. Still better I guess.

      • Free click and collect. So 5% off $20

Bing lee in sydney cbd and officeworks are not far from each other. However these may not be on sale in jan 2 though.

        • Unfortunately, they have only one warehouse in Vic it seems which is too far from the city and most nearby suburbs. Lucky you!!

        • Sorry how did you manage to have price match and place click and collect order with Officeworks?

          • +1

@NeverMissABargain: No. I was saying. Bing lee has free click and collect. So if you go into officeworks you show them the binglee price and they will price beat by 5% without the shipping cost added to the binglee price.

            • @xoom: Thanks. Do you know if BingLee is considered as a competitor for Officeworks and they will honour the price beat? I was not able to find the list of competitors for OW something similar to good guys.

    • $6 delivery.

    No stores in Qld.

  • I just got a Korean brand keychain type for $53 but has built in LED and alarm and remote camera click and personal alarm and ohone missing within 20 metres alarm oh well should have got this for $20 but that one is 8 hours http://item2.gmarket.co.kr/English/detailview/Item.aspx?good…

  • Thanks OP! Very good price!

  • I had the original Go. Used it for 6 days a week for atleast 3 hours, for around 3 years. Only stopped because I finally upgraded my head unit in my car with bluetooth.

  • Yeah what the heck is wrong with the shipping time???

  • +2

Shame i did not know about this earlier. Would have gone past officeworks to price beat the $20 from binglee as its $36 at officeworks.

  • Thanks OP! Got one for myself.

  • is anybody else getting the " there are no results for that address " problem???

EDIT : OK i just figured it out. you don't have to put your full address. only the suburb. RIP

  • I wonder how well the microphone works. I've also tried a few cheap units and while they sound okay for podcasts and very occasional music, the only one that callers do not complain about is my Logitech X100.

  • Fyi all I price matched at officeworks but they included the delivery so was just under 25. I couldn't be bothered arguing the point.

    • Got officeworks to price beat binglee $20. No delivery factored in.

      Bought 5 for $19 each.

Nitpicky. Wish it had provisiong for a lan yard as the gen1 had one.

      • What Officeworks was that? You must have been lucky apparently if you price match them that it’s there policy to add the shipping fee on top of that.

        • +1

          Officeworks in glebe nsw.

          • @xoom: Makes a great gift. Imagine if you could sync them all!

            • @quarrymaster: Thats what i been trying to find out. Got 5 of the go 2… And 3 of the go v1.

If i could link all them up. It would be trippy. Even just the 5 jbl go 2 will do.

              • @xoom: I doubt very much you could link them ala Ultimate Ears, esp at this price point.

                • @quarrymaster: I know. It was more of a wishful thinking.

Best i could do is get 2 paired up to one source for stereo play apparently.

  • Thanks, got on as well, been a Bluetooth holdout for 2 years.

  • 6$ Delivery fee, unfortunately no pickup store near Melbourne CBD.

I'm loving the speaker!! I can turn up the volume with my wet fingers in the shower to drown out my voice
