How it works -

Option 1:

Find what you want on eBay.com.au then change the URL at the start to eBay.co.uk for easy purchasing.

If above doesn't work then try this.

Option 2:

Considering what happened in the last deal, the country switch doesn't seem to work anymore, so you will most likely have to make a new account at eBay UK to take advantage of this offer.

    Didn't work last time after trying new eBay account, new Paypal, UK registered addressed, AU postal and return addresses.

    I am having issues making the payment on Kogan gift card. 10% code works, but I am not able to check out using PayPal. Instead, I tried to check out using the credit card payment option. The order goes through, but only to receive an email after 5 mins saying "Action required: Your payment needs to be resent". Tried with two different cards, same result. Anyone else having this issue?

      Contact paypal - they may have placed a temporary block on your account - it's their anti fraud system. Alternatively try updating your post from address to the same as your delivery address and try again.

    be careful when you get refund to gift card. the balance can be wrong. i would stay away from using gift card. lot of troubles asking them to adjust the balance.

        I've a good, (sort of), refund experience with eBay gift card payment. Once, I returned an item through eBay Plus, i.e. with return mail-in label and ParcelPoint collection confirmation, but the seller don't respond or refund my payment. I contact eBay Plus through chat, once they confirmed I have returned the item through ParcelPoint, they refunded all my payment in full as bank payment, even I used discounted eBay gift card as payment.

      Haven't had an issue. Typically if you stacked with a discount coupon you only get the amount you paid back, also if it was a split payment, then it's apportioned accordingly. So you may find some was refunded back to your CC or PayPal balance.

    Have anyone ever encountered some untouched cards gift card going to zero balance after a while? $300 worth of cards I purchased in September are showing nil balance now. I traced through my pay-pal activities several times to find a hint that I spent them because I want to believe that there is no one out there running some S/W to fish unused gift cards. But I could not find any trace of those cards and that gives me chills. :( I have contacted pay-pal now and bought several $2 garbages with each card to link the gift cards I purchased recently with my ebay account.

        Yes. I purchased $2000 worh of the GCs with previous 10% deal in September. Used up $1700 of them and I make notes on which card and how much was consumed. Then I purchased another $1800 worth of cards with last UK 15% deal. When I decided purchase something yesterday, I tried to use the old GCs and found nil balance on them. Scared and assuming someone took the gcs by assuming the 13 digit number ( only last 6 digits change between batches) , I tried to link all the 10 cards ($1800) with my ebay. The only way I could find to link is to buy something using those gift cards. So, I bought 10 $1-$2 items and linked all to my account.

            @[Deactivated]: I have no clue. I was actually worried if someone wrote a bot that fishes for GCs. Ebay's check balance interface locks itself after few attempts, but the apply balance at checkout page allows as many attempts as you want. A bot that could run million numbers on that can easily fish gift cards. (First 6/7 numbers are same among batches). Since it seemed easy, I looked in the internet to see if anything like this have ever happened. Nothing of that sort. Now, I've asked here and it doesn't seem like anyone had issues as well. So, I could just be paranoid.

            So, options are

            1. I have used them. (Ebay history & Paypal activity don't say so)
            2. I have gifted / sold them. (Never happened unless I have split personality disorder)
            3. Paypal revoked them. (Possible?)
            4. Someone had access to my email/ notes. (Possible. If so, this $300 should be the least of my worries)

            Hope paypal can reveal some answers.

    You can actually buy $1000 and get $100 discount.
    Sadly you cannot buy more on 1 account as the seller has limited 5 items for every 10 days.

    They don't enforce the "1 coupon per account" in their T&C.
    So you can do the following:
    1st Transaction: Buy 4x $200 and get $80 discount
    2nd Transaction: Buy 1x $200 and get $20 discount

          cancel and refund my friend. I almost made the similar mistake as I was signing up with Ebay UK with fake email address that I won't be able to access. I realised it just before final confirmation and started over with creating new email address and ordered 5 X $100.
