Virgin is price-matching the great Qantas deals to Hong Kong.
Example: Sydney to Hong Kong from $454 Return Direct.
Some flights include a stopover, but depends on the source. Deals from SYD/Brisbane/Melbourne/Adelaide/Gold Coast, and a bit more expensive but still good from Hobart, Launceston, and Canberra.
Dates in Feb/Mar and a bit more in May/June.

Hong Kong from Most Ports for under $500
Seems like a lazy post write-up, especially when <$500 is the normal bargain price these days which makes it quite vague.
Would be better if you can include the cheapest price for each port (and include the period for that price), similar to flightscout's deal.
Fair, but I don't know the cheapest for every port. FlightScout has a script that they've build that polls the skyscanner API for thousands of prices. I don't interface with momondo, and saw the deal on Scott's cheap flights.
I've checked it on our site and can find under 500 for MEL/SYD/ADL/BNE/OOL except Canberra ($540ish) and Hobart which I found for $514. But again, that's on my site, and I can't link to that for a deal today under the ozb rules.
I don't have a script or access to the momondo API, so can only show the ones I've found, sorry :/
