Great prices OP! A couple of other items with a decent discount:

    Knitted blazer: https://www.saba.com.au/brooks-knitted-blazer-9352560018881.…

Harrington jacket (available in all sizes too): https://www.saba.com.au/davis-harrington-9352560007830.html

  • How to check sizes?

    • You should be able to filter by size using the filters on the left hand side (if on a desktop).

    • I was wondering this too.

updated information for the size guide

Cheers OP - missed the sportscraft one so here's hoping they don't cancel this order!

  • how small are these sizes? would it be equivalent to MJ Bale suits?

    • Not as slimming as their drop 8. But fits quite nicely nevertheless. However, there are no matching pant.

      • yeah very good point, great price but wonder if its worth getting jacket first then waiting for pants to come on sale - just need matching black at SABA I guess.

Otherwise it get relegated to a dress jacket with jeans

Not worth it. MJ bale outlet stores had full suits for as low as $130 during their boxing day sales (they might still have the same sale: 40% off storewide), I would just get that over SABA. Fit is perfect, why bother spending $100-$200 at SABA for maybe something that fits well if all the stars align and prices are right (don't forget shipping costs). Just pay 200-300 which is how much you can get a suit at MJ bale for nearly any month of the year at their outlet store on sale.

          • @Jaystea: Very good point.

Just went into store lol saba 38 fits, it's a larger fit than MJ bale equivalent size but only the wool blend jacket is left. $63 would basically be a jeans jacket

$130 for MJ bale is ridiculously good, did you pick one up?

            • @G Wok: Nah I didn't need one :P. Iain blue suit is the one, $99 for pants, $149 for jacket. Further 40% off makes it $150. I only got the pants though.

              • @Jaystea: Nice one, is that 40% in the outlet store only? Seems to be 25% online.

I can't bring myself to get a wool polyester blend lol even if it is $63. Good deal though

@Jaystea: cloths aren’t a bargain if they don’t fit and make you look like a slob ….unless undercover cop pretending to be homeless person.

            • @garage sale: I agree. That's why I went with mj bale over Saba. They fit better. And they actually come with pants too.

              • @Jaystea: So why MJ Bale? I am about 5.6 and medium build. Generally find suits a little baggy. MJ are great for smaller sizes?

  • Instore or at Myer/David Jones?

    • Heads up. Only some stores even carry men’s stuff.

Minimal instore sizes. Grabbed a $63 at Indoorpilly in QLD. Only two sizes left. 44 and a 38

Perfect thanks OP. As a musician I wear jackets a lot more than they are intended and $62 is a no brainer for a wool suit jacket in black that I'll end up turfing in 12mth no matter what brand I buy.

Just in time for my court appearance.

    • +1

you need matching pants to make it a suit …..always wear a suit to court appearances

Always wear pants to court appearances.

If i didnt wear pants they would believe my insanity plea more.

Why aren't the pants on sale? You can't buy a suit jacket without pants

  • sizes out of stock so quick.

I hope site 40 will suit me.
I am medium or S normally

    • +1

      38

      • yeah agree S is def 36-38 size. The SABA 38 runs a bit bigger than MJ Bale's slim 38.

  • +3

    Don't forget 3.85% cashrewards!

  • Good deal, but size probably too large for me. Though maybe I can grow into it…

  • How do these compare to YD sizes, I usually wear size 38 in slim suits.

    • Time to move to wool only..

  • Got one of these last year. Still haven't worn it.

  • Are these left over jackets a season thing?
It’ll be good to buy the jacket now and matching pants later.
If they’re seasonal then no point really right… as they wont be restocking the pants.

    • i thought about doing the same thing, the SABA store guy said they were seasonal winter stock

  • After a full suit with 2 pairs of pants - Grey/Charcoal and Navy.

Would it be worth going down to SABA in the Melb CBD (Collins St or DJ's) or is it all odd sizing and no suit sets?
