not sure about that. you need to consider you're locked into the Aple eco system which is harder to extract yourself from if you want too.
as for the and wide range of tablet optimized apps why do you need this? most apps work fine on phone & tablet.
Tablet optimization is a very broad term and for various types of apps will mean better performance in CPU intensive ones or better visuals in graphics intensive ones and so on so forth
Quality of apps themselves for tablets are way better in Apple ecosystem and don't forget equally hard to get out of Google ecosystem for droids
As for actual specs comparison do a comparison between A10 fusion chip vs Snapdragon 4xx and you see what I mean, A10 X beats and snaps snapdragon by a huge margin. Again in real world usage will mean better user experience overall.
Let's not forget battery life is a huge advantage with iPad and you can also use Apple pencil for drawing etc.
You also get WiFi AC chip on iPad rather than WiFi N chip for a better faster stable connection
You also get regular iOS major version upgrades every year
Another plus is 2 year warranty that you can claim from Apple for iPad compared to 1 year from Lenovo

As for the specs, on paper one might be better, in the real world for most, it doesn't make much if any difference. Sure a porche is better then an audi on paper, but around the CBD, a Great Wall ute travels at the same speed as both.

I have no issues with droid, use a droid phone myself.

i really regret i got lenovo Tab 3 for one special reason unable to make voice calls, i always wanted this functionality…huawei tablets have 4G able to makes calls.
everyone is different but for me having tablet capable of making calls throught Sims for backup, i want more than big tablet…
Why didn't you get the Lennovo Tab 3 Plus instead. There was a 4G version for about 180$ a few weeks back.
You can make phone calls with it!!
