The cashback is rounded upwards to a value that is multiple of 5. So for some items is more than 30%. For example, for Wired Desktop 500, the RRP is $39.95 and the cashback is $15.00 (37.54%).

PC Hardware only. Does not include, System Builder Products, Xbox® Consoles or accessories for Xbox Consoles. Products must be purchased between 1st May 2008 and 31st July 2008. Claims must be received by 5 pm (Sydney time) 31st August 2008. Photocopy of original receipt required. Maximum of 3 claims per person. You are responsible for claiming online and the cost of posting in your claim form. Cash Back will be electronically paid into your account. RRP = Recommended Retail Price (including GST).   Can anyone confirm that this cashback is paid even if you buy from an online PC hardware supplier like MSY etc at a price much lower then RRP? If so then the 30% is actually more like 50% discount!

    Yes, you'll still get the cashback even if the price is much cheaper. Note, however, that OEM products are excluded, i.e. it must be a retail product.
