  not a bargain, but it is at the pointy end of pricing if you want eSata
  but even then you might be able to get 2TB external eSata at Maco (search staticice) for less depending on your location.

  Not such a nice deal, many, if not most 2tb 3.5" HDDs are now around the $120 mark and plus, the shipping makes this even more expensive…

  Because THIS particular USB Hard Drive "can be used on a Mac" and because it is white… some people will pay almost anything for such a device!

  Basically any hard drive works on a Mac. If it's fat32 it should work, ntfs just needs to be reformat to fat32. You can even get some applications on the Mac for ntfs formatted drives to work directly.

    Yes, that is why it is so funny when people get excited and will pay more because "it's suitable for a Mac".

    FYI - I've found that all the USB HDDs I've ever bought are FAT32 out of the box.
