    +1 for your elobarative posts. But first couple of reviews for Lightning cables on Amazon US aren't convincing. It's a common problem with most of the lightning cables.

            @T1OOO: I'm no expert on iPhones (never owned one, know nothing about them) but I do take an interest in standards past and present. I actually wouldn't be surprised if we did see Apple fully embrace USB-C one day. They've been testing the waters there for a little while now in other spaces. I actually think it's a reasonably good possibility.

            @T1OOO: Some companies resist the future for longer. Apple was among main participants in creating the standard & used it early with MacBook Pro 2016.
            They don't want too early to anger those that were NOT happy with the removal of Audio jack.
