I have the PD charger and one of the most underrated features is auto on. If you have one of those backpacks that have an external usb outlet, there's nothing more frustrating than plugging in your cable and phone but the batt has to be switched on first, so you have to reach into the bag and wiggle your way to the button. This batt switches on as soon as a cable is plugged in, including from an outlet/extender.

      Like Xiaomi power banks?

      • +1

all the previous xiaomi power banks I've had don't have auto turn on

        • +13

Oh that's interesting. All of mine auto turns on when I plug my phone to it. I've had the first version until now.

        • Mine have always had auto turn on first time the end of the cable is plugged in, but after a disconnect it’s disabled.

Bought the Samsung Fast Charger Type-C 10200 mAh Battery Pack before a trip of 6 weeks to N America last July and this it the best charger I have ever owned, it chargers my phone and tablet within the same time as the fast wall plug charger. Could not be happier and it keeps the power so well.

    • +1

Agreed. They'll definitely be pushed out of the market in aus. Give it a few years. Only bargain hunters use it while mum and dad use wish and ebay.

      • +6

        Name checks out.

    • +1

      Hi Gerry!

  • +4

I have this power bank and love it. This is a great deal.

  • +2

Cheers picked up some USB-C cables

  • +1

    @xev any deals on TT-BH22

    • +2

I don't have any codes at the moment but I am trying to organise a deal by the end of the month.

If you or anyone else would like me to let them know when I have a deal for any TaoTronics, VAVA, HooToo, Anjou, Sable or RAVPower product, please send me a private message with that product in the title and I will be happy to notify you as soon as I have an active deal :)

  • -5

Can we dont post this deal every other week?

  • +1

Thanks OP! Bought the car charger… Great price. Almost half the price of the cheapest one on eBay.

  • +2

One of the best Powerbanks I own. The 30W USB-PD is great for laptops and Switch and 26800 is the legal limit for most airlines.

    • 26800 is legal limit for carry on??? what happens if caught with 30000mah?

      • +1

You will have to dispose the powerbank or refused to board the plane. Someone even got caught with a powerbank that misspelled 20000mah as 20000mha

  • +4

Isn't the Kogan better? It has 60W output so will work on laptops that requires more than 30W like lenovos and cheaper too (well before shipping, might be more after shipping)

    https://www.kogan.com/au/buy/kogan-26800-mah-powerbank-60w-p…

    • +1

Use shipster for free shipping. Plus you can get kogan gift cards at 10% off occasionally, making it $64.

      • +1

Is shipster still available for Kogan? I just tried and it didnt work anymore. Also disappeared from the shipster website.

    • I heard that the more wattage the more heat when charging and heat is the number one killer of batt capacity health. If an expert can clarify that would be great

      • You heard wrong, if the batteries are properly charged and discharged the size of the pack does not matter and in fact having more batteries is better as the discharging is spread over more cells.

  • +1

Please please please do some special deals on wireless chargers again..missed out on the last time and I need to buy a few.

    • +1

Hopefully, very soon, I have just sent through a request for a bunch of deals including Wireless chargers.

If you would like me to notify you when I have a deal please send me a private message with Wireless Chargers in the title.

  • really want to buy this PD bank but i'm getting held back by the large physical dimensions.
does anybody who own this powerbank have any feedback on its physical size and weight?

i'm considering trading off for a smaller 20k power bank like this one almost quite literally just because of the physical specs: https://www.kogan.com/au/buy/kogan-ultra-fast-20000mah-power…

my plans for this bank is only for my smartphone and switch, so 30W or there abouts is more than enough.

    thoughts anyone?

    • +1

The dimensions are 17x8x1.8cm and it weighs 464 grams

    • +1

I have it and love it.. It would be too big to regularly pocket, but it's perfect for travel. It's now a permanent fixture in my carry on bag on flights, or to any holidays/day trips.

  • +2

Do you have a wall charger that does USB-C PD and and USB-A? Price for you to beat is $40 https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/RAVPower-45W-USB-C-PD-Port-AU-PL….

    • +3

SunValley owns RAVPower so they should be cheaper, just not sure why we don't have them yet.

I will send the Rep a message and ask him.

      • +1

Ok plz let me know. Looking to buy within next 3 weeks.

      • Any news on this?

      • Any update? Still looking for this charger and will pull the trigger on eBay soon…

        • It looks like that is a discontinued item, so go for the one on eBay

          • @xev: And no alternative? Should be a staple model.

  • Hope you'd throw a deal on any of your 4 to 6 port Wall Chargers with QC3.0 :)

    • We don't have those in their AU store yet but I am hopeful that they will introduce them soon.

  • +1

    Thanks op, purchased one.

  • +1

Thanks op have been needing an on the go charging solution for my MBP and Phone

  • +2

hey xev, any code for USB C Battery Pack RAVPower 20100 Portable Charger with QC 3.0 Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0, ? the 26k one is quite heavy

  • vava baby light please…

  • Does it have passthrough charging? I want to use it for my dash cam in the car.

    • Not a good idea to use Lipo batteries in a hot car. Better to use LiFePo4 packs.

      • Intrested in power for dash cameras also. Have you reviewed any before?

      • At the moment im using the Xiaomi 10,000mah powerbank. Works well but I need more juice to run it in parking mode longer. Haven't had any issues of it heating up. I leave mine in the armrest compartment.

  • Does the 26800mAh unit support qc?

  • +1

Fun fact! 27,000mAh is the largest capacity battery you're allowed to carry on to an aircraft cabin. This one is conveniently just below that :)

    • +1

Nice, I was just about ask the question but searched it :) fine for flying international and beyond

  • +1

    OP I am curious

Can you explain the basic differences between the $99 26800mah power banks and the $79 ones

    https://www.amazon.com.au/RAVPower-26800mAh-External-Battery…

    https://www.amazon.com.au/Portable-RAVPower-26800mAh-Double-…

    https://www.amazon.com.au/dp/B07JM3MYYY

    • +1

The last one features Usb-C power delivery (PD) for fast charging compatible devices

  • So close to pulling the trigger but does not fast charge Macbook Pro

  • +1

Grrr… Literally just purchased the 26800 a couple of days ago for $99, it arrived in the mail yesterday. Can't be too mad though, it's a great product, well worth the original price.

  • @xev would my 29w USB c MacBook charger fast charge this power bank?

    • Yes it would :)

      • +1

        Thanks, ordered :)

  • Thanks. I just ordered one. Going to be good for travel it seems light enough and will provide enough power for 2 phones during the day.

Just curious will I need a specific type of AC power adapter to charge the bank properly or quickly?
