I came across this while I was playing around with different apps on my newly purchased Sony Bravia AF8 TV that I bought at half the price - a million thanks to RogueWolf for his generosity.

In summary if you have purchased a Sony TV in 2017 or 2018 you could be eligible for the same. There aren't many titles, but hey it's free!

I have purchased Spiderman Homecoming and Captain Phillips.

    I can't find it, but I think he is talking about the EB Games voucher code thing that happened on Christmas day? You could get a 65"A8F for $2,999 I believe was the deal.

  Do we need a code to redeem the offer.
  I can not see a free option and it also requires a payment mode to be added.
  Can someone please advise on how to redeem.

    If it's asking for the card, just add a card. At the checkout it will be $0 anyways. Choose 4k buy option and not rental

  Yep, I think this is the same one that's been running for about a year. Used to be just one, then they changed to two. Banner didn't come up for me though and I had to call Google support, was a nightmare and ultimately not worth it for Homecoming which is now the second best Spiderman movie…

  Thanks, confirmed works with multiple accounts. Some solid titles there such as Taxi Driver, Captain Phillips, Moneyball and Only the Brave.

  For some messed up reason, I was able to see the promotion bar and redeem one movie (Spiderman Homecoming) - ever since then it's disappeared.

  I did disable the bloat on Sony TV - removing advertisement tracking and recommendations… but still didn't expect the promo to disappear from the Google Play Movies store.

  Not sure how to fix the issue.. trying to contact Google is going to be an absolute pain.

  Just a word of warning. If your Google account is part of GSuite then you won't be able to redeem this offer. You can only redeem it using a "personal" Google/Gmail account.

  The rationale Google gives for this (yes, Google, Sony support will refer you to Google) is because GSuite doesn't impose any age restrictions on accounts in the Terms and Conditions due to GSuite for Education, whereas Gmail accounts have a 13+ age clause. That, apparently, is their reason for not allowing GSuite users to redeem this promotion, because you have to be over 13 years old. Uh huh.
