Depends on how angry your wife is, and how good an arm she's got on her.
I was as much of a skeptic as anyone else but decided to buy one for the wife (anniversary present) last year. She's very particular about hair dryers as she worked as a hairstylist in the past. She loves the Dyson and the main thing she noted is how much quicker it dries hair (3 girls in the house with long hair). And the fact that it doesn't "frizz" up hair. As for the price she thinks it is worthwhile for long hair. just my 2c.
Does she recommend any other cheaper brands/models of hair dryers for long hair?
Parlux hair dryers seems to have very good reviews as well.
Some people vouch it's better than Dyson's

It was a price error. If you read through the comments, lots of orders got cancelled even if it’s one the of early ones.

I just 'paid' for it using paypal (currently pending and I have option to cancel). The email address ends in @tom.com. They also haven't accepted it yet. So yeah Scam indeed.

I noticed that the new air curler has a blower attachment. Anyone has feedback on that? Is it as powerful as the supersonic?
