If I still had an office and wasn't resigned to working in open-plan purgatory I would totally get one of these…

Buy one anyway and tell everyone else to stick it ?

      • Not enough room on my piddly little open-plan desk!

awesome! gonna buy one for my office at work to pass time :D

  • This isn't glow in the dark as advertised in description. It has a different packaging

The description says glow in the dark but doesn't appear to be in the pictures.

Previous deal for 10m glow in the dark actually had glow in the dark pictures.

  • Has this always been $19?

    • Nope.. Was $49
      You Save $30 (61%)

Bought this when it came down to $19. It is a P A I N in the arse to put together

  • Can you add this to the one as mentioned above, from the last deal.

  • I bought one from last deal (https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/426813). It was pain in the arse to assemble and 2 parts were broken before the box was open.

  • I've started building mine from previous deal yesterday, and despite only completing about 3/4 of the first route after 3 hours, I think $19 is a good price for it.

The provided instructions are not great. It is as if everything was google translated from Chinese to Russian and then to English. I YouTubed for instructions and found one where some 10 yo was narrating.

Once you understand what needs to be done, most of it is relatively straight forward. You build 'claws' for the rail and stick them on poles. There is even a 1:1 picture of where they go on the pole. Hardest part is definitely trying to attach the rails onto them and trying to smooth it out so the marble has a smooth ride. I'm currently stuck on a particular part where the marble is not getting enough speed after the loop and failing to go up a slight inclined slope.

I can confirm I received all the pieces and none were broken.

    • Also just a note. This uses 1x R14 C battery which is not included. So make sure you have one ready when you're building it.

    • Do you have to follow the instructions, or can you just custom build your track?

      • You can definitely custom build, however, if it is your first time you should follow instructions so you know how the pieces hold together and how to correctly "bend" the track rail. Once you're familiar with it you can go off track and create your own.

  • Thanks picked up 2 for the kids:)

Reading what others posted here, you should give them to your kids when you need to punish them.
