You should add that it's the entire range for 50% off in the title. I bought the Rendes-Vous Old Fashioned Tumblers for myself and they're pretty nice, I couldn't find anything about the lead content though so thanks for that. I was a bit confused when googling because the older (vintage) sets were made with lead.

        • Thanks I just managed to squeeze 50% off into the title.

  • A little lead is okay. Its used to make the crystal look more clear and sparkly. Almost whitish. You put those next to a Waterford crystal and you will see a massive difference in the clarity and sparkle. They just don't recommend storing alcohol in the decanters, like the whisky ones for long periods. Just to pour in the amount you may use. I would say the 50 year old set you have definitely has lead.

    • That’s right, our old ones would have lead in them, therefore are only used on special occasions and we don’t have a decanter so nothing to worry about in that regard. I’m happy to have these for everyday use.

There's really no risk of the lead leaching from what I have read. Safe to use everyday.

  • Do these need to be hand washed, not dishwasher friendly?

      These are dishwasher safe.
