  • Good daily deals but every 7 11 store I have visited in the cbd is out of stock every day so far

    • There is mid 20+ indian staff at 486 George St will give you attitude and look piss when showing these fuel app. Also not always have stock I found there. Treat you like a bludge look for free food. Walk away when seeing that guy now

      • What's it to him if you redeem a free offer? Not like it's coming out of his pay…

I don’t think it’s worth complaining about attitude from a servo - his job probably sucks and it’s a 2 minute interaction. Better to let the small things go

@janehobo: Nope (profanity) that guy I'd get him fired.

        Isn’t that what we are?

      • Treat you like a bludge look for free food

That's what you are, have you done anything for free in your life?

  • I think they are removing the promotional items

    • Agree, I have identified some servos who consistently remove promo items. Surely they are getting the full revenue for this, it's not like it comes out of their pockets.

How can you say it's not coming out of their pockets? Do you know the model of 7-11?

        If the cost price is $3 for a V x 10,000/day = $30K
Do you think that money is just coming out of the sky? Obviously, it's coming out of the pocket of the store owner.

Dave, I am not sure why you feel the need to be so rude, totally un-necessary.

It doesn't work like that with any businesses. Often it is marketing funds provided by the brands (V, Red bull, Coca cola etc…). As part of their agreement they might negotiate $500k a year from Coca Cola in free stock or marketing funds.

The way they use the free stock or marketing fund is up to them as long as they feature the brand.

The same happens with restaurants for example. On Valentine's day your local fine dining may be offering a set menu with Moet Champagne. This could be their free stock from an agreement with Moet, often used on special occasions. Moet allocates specific product range for each occasion to make sure their products get featured during festivities.

        • Further more even if your reasoning was valid, do you really think the cost price of a V would be $3?? It's more likely to be under $1.

  • My 7 11 this morning had rows of stock. Was extremely surprised myself.

    • mine too, got 2 of them :)

      • Do they allow you to scan two diff vouchers? Or only 1 per person?(I have 2 accounts myself)

        • I did one and then put it in my car, walked back, bought a pack of cigs and then scanned another code lol, he just asked if it was the same code, I said no, he was cool about it

  • Can't hide these lol

    • How come?

  • Got one!!! (That too at the first store I visited!)
