I've recieved this in my Velocity Offers this morning, most likely targeted as my partner did not recieve.

Velocity Frequent Flyer is offering up to 500 bonus points when purchasing from participating BP petrol stations.

To receive the 500 points, you will need to make 2 transactions that meet the criteria below. Each time you make an eligible transaction you will receive 250 bonus velocity points (up to 500 bonus points max)

Eligible transactions include in store purchases and/or fuel during the promotion period. There is no minimum spend.

    No BP stations can scan the membership from a phone app. So make sure that you have you physical Velocity card with you.

        they gave me a temp card which i was able to link to my account the first time i was filling up for the xmas bonus.

          Yeah I had to get a temp card then link it back to my account. Points came through fine.

    BP seem to be always 10c/L more than the Caltex. In fact my independent yesterday I got Diesel 13c/L cheaper than BP and it’s a block away. Sort of kills the deal.

      This is largely location dependant. My local one is the opposite.

      Interesting. Around the area where I live in Melbourne, BP and Caltex are around the same and Shell is 10c a litre more.

      It's location dependant. Only about 2c more than caltex for me.

      Very much so with location dependant - our local BP is the cheapest, about the same as 7/11. The Shell is always $0.10-$0.15 dearer per L.

      Locally BP is either the same or 1c / 2c more expensive than Caltex or 7Eleven for me

    You don't have to purchase fuel… 2 x $1 bottles of water will do.

    You also don't need your velocity card - you can ask for a temporary BP card while there (takes 5 seconds), make the 2 separate purchases (they will scan the new temp card) and then go home and link the temp card to your velocity account. Very easy process.
