Best Way to Send Parcel from Indonesia to Sydney

Hi all, I need to send my wedding photobook from Indonesia (Jakarta) to Sydney.
The photography company said it will cost about $250 USD. ( I might as well go and pick it up!)

What would be the best way to send it to Sydney?

    If you have the time, I wouldn't discount flying back to collect it.
    The total costs might slightly exceed USD250 (~AUD350), particularly if more than 1 person goes, but you could get a few days to relax again.

      Yeah, I was thinking the same.
      Even if we go for a long weekend (just take friday off) it will be about $350 each and we get a holiday out of it, way better than paying $350 for shipping!

    I sent 16kg from Bali to Sydney for around 100 AUD via the Kantor POS.

    Sea mail. Arrived fine about 2 months later.
    If your family is Indonesian, just send them to the Kantor POS for you and get them to post it. Very easy when you speak Indonesian :) I'd imagine 3kg for a wedding album shouldn't cost you more than 40 AUD at the very most there, even if you sent it air mail.

    Depend on how heavy my lugagge would be when I am coming back, I can bring it back to Sydney with me, with a small fee ofc. Though I don't know where you item located and I might not able to pick it up for you as I am myself a guest here.

    8kg is about $80 - $90 is you can find some indo facebook or whatsapp community… jual bagasi, usually about $10-$12 per kg

    try to search and asked around indonesian community who is active in facebok and whatsapp. i am in melb, so limited my community within melb area…

    maybe you should try sydney fb community.. the rock or whatever they called.. i forgot
