  • Wow!!! a whole 5% off…. yawn…..

    6) Akai ADAB100 Digital Radio (DAB+ and FM Radio) AC or Battery Powered - $58.85

is this the same radio that's only $49.95 here ???

    http://tinyurl.com/3n76qc5

also, your postage is $13.95 and theirs is $6.95

    • Look at their previous posts, even with the feedback they don't give a flying stuff about providing some good prices on here. They even call them great deals - there's nothing on that list that can't be found cheaper elsewhere.

    • Yep, and it was cheaper still in January's offer, from another vendor.

This "deal" just isn't competitive IMO.

  • Ouch, core i5 2500k for $277.50 when most other stores sell it for $230.

    • yeah… more like SPAM, less like a bargain…

      • Spam and Easter don't mix.

        • +4

          But spam and eggs do.

  • Neg from me as well. Spammer…

  • rep just want free advertising…
    agreed with others…SPAM!

  • Ozbargain is for deal not adv. sorry

  • This post was simply to share our 5% off store-wide Easter coupon and give opportunity to enjoy this savings.

We do apologize to people who are not happy with our prices, we are continuously working to bring our customers the best deals on the market.

    • prices are another issue, but as a consumer, 5% is nothing, 10% is moderate but still not much and 20% is pretty much the expected norm to be considered a bargain

if you post again, i would suggest you concentrate on offering a specific deal (at a competitive price) and then using the 5% off coupon as an added extra, rather than the voucher itself

    • Either you're new in the world of business or your just want us to forgive a low-ball offer. Either way, we all know you can boost your reputation here. (I show how below, read the bottom portion…)

We know that online businesses SAVE massive amounts, eg, by running from a warehouse (sometimes even using a bit of extra space in the home to save warehouse leasing costs, when first starting out).

Not only that, you save on employee costs, a shop-front & all that it takes to make it "shine" (ie, so we feel good about shopping there, after we walk in the door), and advertising costs.

OzBargain helps you SAVE $$$ on advertising, but its users expect fair savings for the time they invest in reading all the articles, each claiming to be a terrific deal.

Let me suggest that you offer, your AKAI DAB+ digital radio for $44.85 (as was offered in January) or even $39.95 (if you want to knock our socks off & make up for this embarrassing blunder), with Free Shipping, of course.

AKIn case you didn't notice, the AKAI's ADAB100 (listed in your disappointing "deal") was very recently listed here (for over 10% less) on OzBargain, so it's the right product to win hearts, both for your online shop and for digital radio in Australia… a real Win-Win deal-opportunity. :-)

Such a deal would be a good indication of your sincerity, & I'm sure many more will be interested in buying an AKAI ADAB100 from you at that price, especially if you make it clear that you're including the 240 Volt power block (or power lead, if that's all it requires), just like OfficeWorks & others do.

In fact, I'd be your first buyer, eg, if it's new, all-inclusive (as OfficeWorks' is) and shipped Free.
(Remember, a lot of has have heard the AKAI ADAB100 playing at OfficeWorks, so it's a "known quantity".)

This is a great way to win hearts on OzBargain: BEAT THE COMPETITION by "under-cutting" a RECENT offer!
It happens all the time. :-)

(If you prefer, find a quality DAB+ digital radio with an Internet radio feature, and price it at a level that will make us want to send you cash.)

Please consider… Your business depends on folks like us on OzBargain. :-)
