    Is Ian Thorpe gay?

    The usual hangout for Aboriginals.

  • Will Ian Thorpe be there?

Also how was crouds like in previous years?

  • We used to go there, nice facility but could use more showers (this was a few years back). But while you could get there by public transport, we needed to drive and parking was a pain. We now drive further away to Annette Kellerman in Marrickville, which backs on to a great park, and close to Marrickville Metro for a spot of shopping. Works out better with the kids.

    • Do you prefer the swimming classes for kids at Marrickville over Ian Thorpe?

      • Comparing to a few years ago, yes. ITAC had good instructors, but changed them every few weeks, and there was no consistency nor structure with the content. It really felt like going backwards at times. This is with first swimmers and as they progressed, it might be better. So it may not be a fair assessment. Certainly at the time, we didn’t feel it was that great.

If you have young kids and happy to drive, AKAC certainly worth a try. I think we went their for a pool party and decided to give it a go. Great park, ample parking, and you could stroll to the park’s far corner for a Serendipity ice cream!
