          Absolutely, in fact they are generally better as the keyless chuck of a drill driver holds better to a hex bit than a round bit. But for a normal drill bit the impact driver version will generally be more expensive.

      Electric screwdrivers usually have even less power than a drill/driver.

      I entered some Sydney postcodes and still came up as $49. Did your wife show them the online price?

          Regular price was $98. The price tags in most of the stores still say $98 but the item scans at $49.

      Looks like a generic charger. You should be able to find one at home for another device you have. I have one from my hard drivr which I’m sure is the same.

    Anyone know how long the batteries will last (if fully charged or 80% charged) when stored? I have an old Ozito 12V nicad drill which is annoying in that I have to charge up the battery for a few hours/the day before any time I want to use the drill. Thinking this kit might be a good upgrade for my infrequent use.

    This appears to be a clearance item as the batteries are not compatible with the new XU1 Blue range
    They have both on the website the XU1 Blue is $98 and the XU1 is $49
