Theyre a new product for us that we havnt actually recieved yet so i don't know sorry.

I don't think it will be unlocked.
Vodafone shop wanted to sell it to me for $120.
I'm still hoping some Vodafone 50 dollar data dims come on sale… I'm getting too lazy to activate a sim every month.

Can anybody answer this question about pre-paid: does the first month included with a pre-paid starter kit count as a "recharge"? Or is that an initial charge?
Example: Telstra is offering 22GB bonus data for the first 5 recharges, as long as the first recharge is done by 25 Feb 2019 (and the next 4 recharges by 30 June 2019). Does that mean I have to sign up for pre-paid by the end of Jan, and then recharge by 25 Feb 2019? Or can I purchase a sim and activate it by 25 Feb 2019, with that counting as a "recharge"?
I'm guessing the former, but hoping for the latter (my current plan ends at the end of Feb!).
