Nobody in this country should buy Australian grown rice. A continent with water resource issues like ours should not be growing rice.

Buy asian/sub continent grown rice where the natural conditions usually take care of rice growing.

    • Before we stop buying Australian grown rice, maybe we should also stop buying Australian Chicken, Pork, Cotton and Beef?

It takes 2,497 litres of water to produce 1kg of rice. Chicken (4,325 lt/kg), Pork (5,999 lt/kg), Cotton (10,000 lt/kg) and beef (15,000 lt / kg) consume a lot more to produce than rice.

  • $0.11/100g is a great price. Personally, I'd prefer brown and a lower quantity so we have a chance at eating it before the moths do.
