    those are amazing ONES!
if you compare sound quality of BOSE to those…BOSE would seem nothing.

I have used the same ones but black for almost 10 month. Great buy

Would you recommend these over Sony WH1000MX3 and Bose Quite Comfort 35ii?? I am gonna pull the trigger and buy these

      • Oh definitely.

      • certainly I would! I sold my Bose QC35 after I tried those.
Since then I use them. I fly a lot. They are great for the airport and flying.

        • Thanks. Reason I was asking because I need good sound when I watch movies or sport (commentary) and need someone's opinion to justify $250 price difference.

  • I remember seeing a pair of B&O's at dick smith for $50 when they were closing down. I think they retailed for $600.

    • It wouldn’t be this version. Probably H4 or H6.

I own the H9 and my best friend owns the H9i. A level above the sound from most other consumer level, portable Bluetooth headphone. No regrets. If you aren't into the looks save your money and buy the super Sony wh-1000xm3. If you want a "safe" buy go with Quiet Comforts (I find them really boring and everyone has them).

    Pros:
Clear and detailed highs, smooths mids and accurate if tame lows (in comparison to the market)
Materials and build quality are top notch. They're beautiful**
Great looks yet most people won't notice them (like a BMW M3)***
Active noise cancellation is excellent. I've spent plenty long haul flights in complete isolation
Wired connection sounds that much better
Can use wired connection and noise cancellation at same time eg when watching movies on a plane

**the power button can be a bit mickey mouse. Best friend had H9 and his power switch broke. B&O replaced it with H9i. I had same issue but wasn't respirators or replaced unfortunately
***avoid the natural colourway (pictured) at all costs as body oils stain the leather—I learned this the hard way on my older B&O H6 headphones

    Cons:
The low frequencies are more neutral (but still beefier than the earlier H9). Bass heads look elsewhere
Active noise can take a bit of getting used to. Not as fancy as some of the latest headphones
Cannot handle more than one source so you have to re-pair when you change devices. Easy to do though
Have noticed a slight bit of noise when Bluetooth connects
Sound stage is a bit close (I also own some high end AKGs so they provide my reference)
Aluminium scratches easily so best to keep in the soft bag provided
    Controls aren't great tbh
Phone calls work fine but the mic is not the greatest. If you make a lot of calls get the Sony
