That's pretty good. Willow brand is probably not quite as good as Coleman.

Yep, and the Willow comes with a 10 year warranty. Quite likely you'll never need the warranty, I bought one today to replace the old one I had for 19 years - exactly the same model, just the colour of the lid changed from white to blue and has slightly different indents on the inside to fit freezer bricks.

The old one is still in perfect working order, just a bit scratched and has some stains that won't come out. I'll keep it for fishing and use the new one for picnics.

Oh, and Willow is made in Australia.

      • Does it have proper insulation in the lid? Or just hollow inside?

        • It doesn't actually say on the cooler or the label, but Anaconda has the same here and writes "Fully insulated against the Australian sun".

        • I've seen that written on a cooler ticket (that had a hollow lid) at Ray's. I wanted to tell them it was incorrect but I never got around to it.

The design of this once suggests not. But I'd be keen if it actually it's.

I have an 11L that I filled the lid with Expanda Foam and it's a little small to keep enough cooks water for a work day.

    • Personally prefer the look of this Coleman, more convenient size to keep in the car/take out to picnics etc.

  • How many cans is this equivalent to?

    • Looks like it says 22 cans on the sticker (under where it says 15L).

  • Got the catalogue in the mail today and it came with a scratch n' save card, got $5 off (I bet everyone got the same). This looks like a solid purchase for $25.

  • What's unAustralian about not wanting to be a walking ad for Coleman, a US company? I would not want the cap and stubby holder.
