  If you've got a euro car with a remote mounted battery, beware. I found the included clamps simply too short to reach both 'jump terminals' under my bonnet. They do not have longer clamps available :/

      Yeah that seems to be my only option. Unfortunately it means that the whole assembly doesn't fit into my glove box any more :( This was supposed to be an alternative to jumper cables dammit!

      Also joining jumper cables reduces their current carrying capacity somewhat, although its probably fine for my purposes.

        You don't have a boot - for the extension cables? or place cables under seat?

          @Other: I don't want jumper cables bouncing around my boot. The box doesn't fit under my seat (I've tried).

          I bought this because it was supposed to be neater and smaller than the box of jumper cables.
