Asked the CHOETECH rep for some USB-C cable deals and they provided. Quite a good price considering these are local stock and backed by an AU warranty.

Both cables can fast charge at 2.4A and are to specification with the inbuilt 56 kΩ resistor unlike a lot of generic cables.

        Besides Apple I've seen a few Chinese manufacturers release them in China the last few weeks. I predict we'll be seeing them popping up online in Feb.
